Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Hey... um hi...my name is Freckles. I did not get a lot of socialization with people before I was rescued from the streets, so it takes me some time to trust and get comfortable. I do enjoy the company of other dogs and puppies and would do well in a home with another dog. I am currently living in a foster home with another dog who is not as playful as me. We still enjoy each other's company and I am learning how much joy it is to live in a real home. I am completely housebroken and have the zoomies each morning while my foster parents are waking up. I am doing my best to approach new experiences with a brave face but because it takes me a little while to warm up, no one has really given me a chance to shine....like a good diamond it takes time. *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $125 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Transport is available and can be discussed on an individual basis. Thank you for considering a rescued former street dog for your next family member!

Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Eenie is a young and devoted mother who, along with her three puppies - Meenie, Minie, and Moe, was discovered abandoned in a park in the Corridor. Eenie is gentle, loving, and patient, both with her puppies and people. She's eager to please and would make a wonderful addition to any loving family. She enjoys the company of other dogs, and is properly respectful of cats with appropriate introductions. Eenie has spent time in an apartment during a short-term fostering, and was mindful to keep a clean home. Her intelligence and energy will require a proper healthy outlet, but with some refinement she'll make a truly amazing pet. Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $175 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Transport is available and can be discussed on an individual basis.

Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Misty Dawn is a gentle soul with a heart as golden as her fur. Initially shy, she warms up quickly with a little bit of patience and love. Misty is a loyal companion who enjoys leaning in for scratches and running zoomies around the yard. She does enjoy playgroups with gentle, quieter dogs, but is terrified of cats and would prefer a home without them. Misty Dawn has a curious nature and enjoys exploring the great outdoors. While she may be reserved to new environments, her sweet demeanor is sure to shine through once she feels safe and secure. With gentle, respectful dogs she does well but she can be selective about who she interacts with. Puppies are of great joy to her, so perhaps a smaller canine companion? *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Pretty Penny? Nah, Pretty Penne! Young Penne came into our program with 5 puppies in tow, all sadly breaking with parvo but recovering. Eager to spend time with other gentle dogs, this bright eyed soul takes her days at a leisurely pace, keeping things quiet and simple. While her initial interaction was rocky, there is potential for her to cohabitate with cats with proper introductions. With no formal training we know of, it's impressive how well Penne does on a leash! Eager to please, and asking very little, Penne might be the right dish for you! *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Story
My name is Leia and I am looking for my forever family. I am in a foster home with other dogs but my foster mom would like for me to be an only child with my new family.  I do love my humans. If you like to take walks or you are a runner, I am your girl. I do walk well and that is my favorite part of the day.  With still being young I have so much to learn about the world and I am very happy and eager to learn more. Living in a house with three other adult dogs I have learned the doggie door and I sleep all night on my doggie bed. April 18, 2024, 8:36 pm

Story
Patch was found as a stray and one of our awesome vet partners treated him and asked us to take him in as he is a great boy! We asked two trainers to independently assess him and he passed with FLYING COLORS.  He is gentle, easy to handle, friendly to everyone and loves other dogs.  Loves them.  All of them.   He is a typical Texas lab or maybe he is a Texas dalmation?  Whatever he is, he is HANDSOME and stands out in any crowd.  April 18, 2024, 8:36 pm
