Story
****This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas**** Filled with sweetness but terribly unsure of herself, it is evident young Solstice received a fairly cruddy hand for the first start of her life. Arriving into our program with 8 babies in tow(one of which has pronounced medical issues), hers has not been an easy road to walk. Heartworm positive and on the road to recovery, and with her puppies off seeking families of their own, Solstice's time has also come! Quiet but filled with love, she is quite shy with new people with shows strong eagerness to be friends with every human she meets, and most dogs too! Cats make her terribly nervous, so we would prefer a home for her without feline companionship. A gentle hand, and some solid patience, will allow Solstice to bloom into the amazing dog she truly is. A quieter home with a steady schedule would be best for her, but she's not above a bit of boisterous play once she is comfortable, and loves(albeit nervously) car rides! While we know shy dogs aren't for everyone, we are confident the perfect family for this sweet young lady is out there, and can't wait to meet them! *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Transport is available and can be discussed on an individual basis. Thank you for considering a rescued former street dog for your next family member!

Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Meet Evangeline! 🐾 Are you ready to dive into the unknown with the mysterious and reserved Evangeline? Evangeline was found abandoned in a home with her mom, dad, and younger sibling. All three have since been adopted, but Evangeline is still waiting for her forever home. Evangeline is a pup who needs love and patience, and her story helps explain why. She was found abandoned with a hurt leg, which was later amputated. Unfortunately, we will never know exactly what happened, but the little information we do have shows us that patience is well deserved for Evangeline. She has been in foster care for a few months now, and her foster is always overjoyed when a new milestone is reached! Taking treats from her hand, cuddling together in bed, and other milestones like these will make the right adopter happy beyond measure. Evangeline has a fun side when she’s around other dogs. She is lively and social and loves to run around or lie down chewing on a toy with them. Evangeline also has some adorable quirks, for example, at mealtime she hops around in circles with excitement. While we don’t know much about her past, we do know that Evangeline deserves a loving home just like the rest of her family. This sweet, mysterious pup is ready to impress you every day with new milestones you can achieve together. Are you ready to dive into the unknown? *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $125 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Story
Dingo is a resilient 1.5&#226&#128&#145year&#226&#128&#145old cattle dog mix whose strength and gentle spirit make her truly special. Found abandoned under a house with two broken femurs and a broken pelvis, she survived circumstances that would have defeated most. Thanks to the compassion of a dedicated rescuer, she received the surgery and care she needed in September 2025—and she has exceeded every expectation in her recovery. Now thriving and healthy at a petite 32 pounds, Dingo is an easy fit for many households. She is confident and loving -- gets along beautifully with men, women, children, and all dogs. Her temperament is steady and adaptable, making her an ideal companion for families or individuals alike. Dingo is low to moderate in energy and would do well with a canine friend who matches her pace. She is fully vetted for home life: spayed, house trained, and crate trained. In every way, she is a rare find—a calm, loving, well&#226&#128&#145mannered dog ready to bring joy and companionship to a forever family. January 18, 2026, 10:05 pm
