Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** Gentle, reserved, and arriving with a mangled leg, Evangeline has decidedly had a rougher start than most and will take a special family to help her blossom into the wonderful dog we see hiding behind those soulful eyes and satellite dish ears. With her presumed parents Scamp and Lady, she lived a hard life on the streets. Now safe and mending from an amputation, this sweet-natured girl is enjoying the comforts of her foster home. Quiet, housebroken, and eager to play with the other dogs, Evangeline is ready for the next step in her rescue journey. Shy dogs take a bit more work, but are well worth the extra effort! Maybe she's the one for you? *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $125 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Transport is available and can be discussed on an individual basis. Thank you for considering a rescued former street dog for your next family member!

Story
****This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas**** Filled with sweetness but terribly unsure of herself, it is evident young Solstice received a fairly cruddy hand for the first start of her life. Arriving into our program with 8 babies in tow(one of which has pronounced medical issues), hers has not been an easy road to walk. Heartworm positive and on the road to recovery, and with her puppies off seeking families of their own, Solstice's time has also come! Quiet but filled with love, she is quite shy with new people with shows strong eagerness to be friends with every human she meets, and most dogs too! Cats make her terribly nervous, so we would prefer a home for her without feline companionship. A gentle hand, and some solid patience, will allow Solstice to bloom into the amazing dog she truly is. A quieter home with a steady schedule would be best for her, but she's not above a bit of boisterous play once she is comfortable, and loves(albeit nervously) car rides! While we know shy dogs aren't for everyone, we are confident the perfect family for this sweet young lady is out there, and can't wait to meet them! *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Transport is available and can be discussed on an individual basis. Thank you for considering a rescued former street dog for your next family member!

Dingo is a resilient 1.5-year-old cattle dog mix with a heart full of love and a story that will inspire you. After a rough start—found abandoned under a house with three broken spots in her leg—this brave girl was rescued by a kind soul who gave her the care she needed. Following surgery to repair her bones, Dingo has made an incredible recovery and is now thriving! Petite at just 32 pounds, she’s the perfect size for any home and loves playing with other dogs. Dingo does well around cats, is fully house trained, and doggy door trained! When it's dinner time she will literally pick up her bowl, bring it over to you, and set it at your feet. Dingo is ready for her second chance at life and can’t wait to share her joy and loyalty with a family who will cherish her forever. Story
Meet Sunset – a stunning and intelligent Red Heeler with a heart full of affection and a thirst for adventure. While shelter life was overwhelming for her at first, Sunset has found her rhythm and for many of us, a volunteer favorite. These days, she lights up when it’s time for playgroups with other friendly, playful dogs, and she absolutely adores time with volunteers—especially if it involves toys or splashing around in the water.True to her breed, Sunset thrives on mental and physical activity and needs a home where she won’t be left alone for long stretches. She’s looking for a loving family, adult-only household (no children under 16, please), that can give her the structure, enrichment, and companionship she craves. In return, she’ll be a loyal, fun-loving partner ready to share every adventure by your side.If you’re searching for an active partner for hiking, running, and playtime, who also knows how to relax by your side, Sunset could be the perfect match!Est. Story
My name is Goofy and it couldn't be more fitting! I am, in fact, a goofball but I'm also a super smart guy with a big ole smile and ears who have a mind of their own. I am house trained, kennel trained (in fact, I feel safest eating my meals in my crate and won't feel threatened it's going to be taken from me), and know lots of commands- sit, wait, paw, kennel, down, drop it, and I play a great game of fetch. My favorite snacks are cold cucumbers! I love the kids in my foster homes and have learned to refrain from jumping on my people except when I'm just too excited to hold it in. I love playing with other dogs and would love a furry friend in my FURever home. No old, grouchy dogs, because I'm not great at not begging them to play, but I get along well with all sizes. Cats are like balls to me and I want to chase and fetch them, so it's best the home doesn't have any. I'm super friendly and looooove to be loved on so if your hands are free for endless pets, use them to submit an application to meet me!

Story
Hey there! Bruno here. After being abandoned in a shopping center, I was welcomed with open arms into my loving foster home. I'm an energetic guy who loves playing with other smaller dogs, especially the girlies. I've quickly shown how smart I am, too! I potty outside like I've learned from my furry friends and I'm even kennel-trained, too. Kids and cats are okay in my book, too! If you like my dreamy eyes and lovely coat, you should promptly apply to meet me! C'mon, let's be pals!
