Meet Tex!
Hi, y'all! I'm Tex, and although I'm not REALLY from Texas, I AM a handsome gentleman dog looking for love in the form of a happy home. If that home includes a pick-up truck, I will contentedly sit in the passenger seat and watch the scenery go by when you drive me to Frostie Freeze for an ice cream date. My dream home would include a fenced in yard where I can patrol the perimeter and pick up the trail of wildlife. My hobbies include laying on the couch, snuggling on the couch, having you pet me on the couch, or allowing you to gaze fondly at me.....on the couch. I am exceptionally loving, and I am very generous about giving hugs and doggy kisses. In fact, my many positive qualities include adoring every human I meet, going outside when I need to tend to personal business, not disturbing the decor in your home, and enjoying the company of other dogs. Where cats are concerned, I live and let live. I respect your independence, and I don't mind at all if you occasionally go out on your own and leave me at home, as long as I get free use of the couch and the beds while you are gone. I'm the only one who knows for sure what my real age is, and I'm not telling! Though I will say I'm an adult. At 60 pounds, I'm in great health, in the prime of life, but to keep my complexion clear, I stick to non-beef and non-poultry sources of protein. Here is where you can indulge me by serving fish, tuna, salmon, rabbit, boar, venison, lamb, or kangaroo. Whatever your budget can afford!
My charming personality, my silky hound ears, irresistible good looks (I AM a Bluetick, after all!), my easy-going disposition, my melodic singing voice, make me a perfect package. Although I've never had a formal education, I'd love to take some classes to help me be the best boy for you, be it at home with you, or an actual "class". My biggest dream is to make my forever family happy. All this could all be yours with one easy application! I promise I'm worth it!
