Story

Daisy Girl is one of the sweetest Bluetick Coonhound dogs you will ever meet.  She is a young 19 month old girl that just wants a little corner of happiness to share with a wonderful family.  Life started out hard for her and she was put out on a horrible chain at the age of 6 months and left there and ignored.  She is delighting at her new life with the foster family and we have promised her a great forever life with people who will love her.   All she wants is to run free in a fenced yard and to get a few kind pets on the head and loving, kind words.  Daisy Girl has such an amazing personality and is so easy going and CALM!  She is quiet in a crate and is only 42 pounds and not going to grow any bigger.  She is not timid at all but gentle and easy going with her tail that never stops wagging.  She likes cats and dogs alike and would be their best friend forever.   If you want a GREAT red headed dog then there is no better than our girl Daisy.   If you are interested in this gem of a dog please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.September 28, 2023, 10:14 pm

Meet Zeus💜 When an Adogs staff visited Korean city Shelter, Zeus was hiding behind another dog with wagging his tail. He's calm and quiet! He waits calmly in his crate, and he doesn't bark. He's not afraid of people's touch, but he's still very awkward with them! He's a gentle boy and never nips! 🥰 He gets along well with other dogs at the Adogs Center, but he's not very interested in them.🤣 * Health record: He is missing his left ear congenitally, but it doesn’t affect his hearing at all! * Finished heartworm treatment. (Retest is needed)

Are you looking for a dog whose heart is bigger than his brain??? Look no further than Leroy, a big mush of a dog who would like nothing more than to find a home that is going to give him all the love in the world! Having a rough start to life with owners who neglected him, his journey to a better life began when a shelter worker from another shelter saw him and fell in love with his big, goofy personality. She instantly fell head over heels in love with him and made sure he made his escape from that rural shelter, giving him a second chance at life. The shelter worker who rescued him did everything in her power to secure rescue for him so that he would never go back to the deplorable conditions that lead to his being heartworm positive. He received his treatment at the shelter and then made the journey to RR where he has been doing beautifully! Leroy is well on his way to recovery and is now looking for his perfect home. He is EXCELLENT with all types of dogs and can easily coexist if the dog doesn’t engage or will willingly play if the other dog is looking to have fun. He is living with three other dogs and happily chews bones right alongside his canine companions. He is such a good boy in the crate, especially considering he needed crate rest in his recovery from those nasty heartworms. What he lacks in intelligence, he more than makes up for with his lovable personality. He absolutely LOVES everyone he meets. He would make an incredible family dog and he just adores people. He is doing very well with housetraining and knows how to walk on a leash. We just can’t say enough wonderful things about this sweet boy. The shelter workers saw something truly special in him, fighting hard to make sure he would only have the best life going forward, and we can definitely see why! Leroy is Blue Tick Coonhound who is about 5 years old and weighs about 57 lbs. He is currently being fostered in Bethlehem, PA with three dogs, two kids, and two crazy foster parents! Meet Ernie. This sweet hound mix was left abandoned at a house in a small rural town with several other dogs. Ernie has come out of his shell and now enjoys gentle pets and belly rubs. He learning to walk on leash and gently take treats out of your hand. Ernie is about 3 years old and 45 pounds. Please hep this sweet, handsome boy find the loving home that he deserves. Update: Ernie tested low positive for Lyme's/Ehrlicchia, two common tick borne diseases. He is on a short dose of antibiotic which can be sent home with his new family for completion. Ernie is currently available for adoption We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
