Story
Gary is the best companion. He will sit near you, and also get in your lap, as long ss you want him to. He LOVES walks and being outside. Just make sure your fence is secured, he likes to escape when there is a hole or anything in the fence. Gary was originally my dad's. He found him in the RV park on lake thunderbird during a heavy ice storm. Gary was roamimg the park looking for help, as he had some severe wounds from what looked like a dog fight. (We believe he had PTSD from this fight, as he is now terrified of male dogs and gets in tussles with them).my dad let Gary into his RV. He had him for a year, before my mom and dad got back together, then their place couldn't have a dog. I've got a yard (I won't anymore after I move, that's why I'm rehoming him) so I agreed to rake Gary in. I've had him for 2 years. Also, I've never seen a dog who crates so well and can hold it inside from going potty like Gary can. I would love for him to go to a loving home, and I'm going to miss him

Rue is a beautiful bluetick coonhound around 3 years old with a soft, gentle personality and all the best hound traits. She's sweet, affectionate, and lights up when she's praised. Rue loves running full speed, playing chase, flopping around for wrestling, and then settling in once she's had her fun. Rue is submissive- not aggressive or reactive, and does well with other dogs once she's comfortable. She does have a bit of a learning curve when it comes to reading other dogs' signals, but she's learning! She has gotten noticeably better with time and guidance from confident, well mannered dogs. She enjoys playtime but doesn't always need to be in the middle of everything- if things feel too busy, tense, or a little overwhelming, she's perfectly content to disengage and do her own thing nearby. At home, Rue is easy to live with and continues to make great progress. She sleeps quietly in a crate, rides well crated in the car, is house trained with a routine, and has very good manners. She's very food motivated, responds beautifully to praise, and is sensitive to tone- being told she's a good girl truly matters to her. Rue is still learning what safety and home feel like. She can be a runner, so secure containment and continuing working on her recall training is very important. She'll do best in a calm, patient home with kind people, clear structure, consistency, and a steady dog or two. If you're looking for a hound who's already wonderful, and you'd love to celebrate her small victories as she grows even more confident and learns to shine even brighter, Rue would love to meet you.

Jack Ryan guy is a big handsome Bluetick Coonhound with a true hound heart and plenty of personality. He knows how to relax indoors but lights up when there's something interesting to see, chase, smell, or do. Jack is a high-drive hound who does best when his brain and body are kept busy. He has a strong chase instinct and needs a fenced yard and an active lifestyle, including things like enrichment activities like scent work, long walks, or a playful buddy to keep him engaged and content. Without a job to do, he might try to invent one on his own- like deciding he's responsible for neighborhood traffic patrol. For Jack Ryan, a home that understands hound instincts and can safely channel them is important. He's housebroken, trustworthy at home, and happiest with consistency, activity, and a little purpose in his day. He really loves to chase cars, so he will require an adopter with a securely fenced yard for his safety, as well as the patience to train that impulse out of him.
