Story
Bailey is a lovable dog who requires a lot of attention. Due to recently discovering that we are expecting a new child, we are not sure that we can provide her the attention she needs. Open spaces or a big yard are a plus. She needs a little work but is trained in the basics. Potty trained, etc. She’s good with our 2 year old daughter and our miniature schnauzer. Has not been around cats. She has not been used or trained for hunting.

Jack Ryan is a big handsome Bluetick Coonhound with a true hound heart and plenty of personality. This guy knows how to relax indoors but lights up when there's something interesting to see, chase, smell, or do. Jack would love a home that understands hounds and can give him room to run, explore, and put that nose to work. He's housebroken, trustworthy at home, and happiest with structure, activity, and a little purpose in his day. He loves to chase cars, so he needs someone with a fenced yard for his safety and patience to train that impulse out of him. If you're looking for classic hound charm with just the right amount of spark, Jack Ryan might be your guy.

Story
Doodle is a handsome pup currently sitting in a rural shelter, waiting for a foster or adopter through our rescue. We don't have him in our physical care yet, which means we don't have a full picture of his personality- and honestly, that's probably part of why he's been overlooked. What we do know is that Doodle is sweet, people-friendly, and has been patiently waiting since 07/11/2025- 192 days as of writing (1/19/2026)- with literally one brief inquiry in that time. We're not sure why. He's a great-looking dog with a gentle presence who just hasn't had anyone stop long enough to ask about him. If someone steps up to foster, we can learn more about who Doodle really is as a family dog, get better photos, and give him the chance to show what he's all about. Until then, he's kind of a question mark- but a hopeful one. If you're open to fostering or adopting a dog who hasn't had much of a chance yet, Doodle could really use you. This guy is one of those dogs where you get to discover who he is as you go. No long list of labels, no carefully curated bio- just a dog, a home, and the process of figuring each other out- and helping him figure himself out! For the right person, that's not a downside. It's kind of the fun part.
