Story
King is a purebred Bluetick Coonhound, we call him a "Coonie" - he was a hunting hound in NC and came from a shelter there. King is a friendly hound, but can be protective of his food (he is absolutely fine as long as he is not afraid of his food might be stolen) so he should be in a home without children, or with children over 12. King is great with other dogs, typical of hounds - he is not dominant at all. He loves to play with other dogs and with toys! Being a hound, he must have a securely fenced yard and never be off-leash outside the fenced yard. King will be a wonderful family companion for someone lucky enough to know how awesome hounds can be!

2 years old.  Momtilda was pulled from a shelter very pregnant.  A week after coming to us she gave birth to 14 puppies.  She’s a wonderful dog and would make a great companion pet. Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue Meet Bluebelle!  We were contacted about this poor 7 year old girl whose owner could not/would not properly care for her. This sweet senior girl is ready to let her light shine and find the home she so desperately wants and deserves. Bluebelle gets along great with children, and has done well with her caretaker's boxer. She knows basic commands such as sit, and give paw. She walks well on a leash and listens well. She is a very loyal dog, who loves her people, and anyone she meets. She does have a history of roaming so she will need a home where she can be appropriately confined in a fenced yard where she is not left alone long enough to get bored and curious.  Meetings with her can be arranged with approved adopters.
