King is a purebred Bluetick Coonhound, we call him a "Coonie" - he was a hunting hound in WV and came from a shelter there. King is a friendly hound, but can be protective of his food (he is absolutely fine as long as he is not afraid of his food might be stolen) and if he thinks someone is going to hit him (he was obviously abused before) so he should be in a home without children, or with children over 12 who are gentle and kind with animals. King is great with other dogs, typical of hounds - he is not dominant at all. He loves to play with other dogs and with toys! Being a hound, he must have a securely fenced yard and never be off-leash outside the fenced yard. King will be a wonderful family companion for someone lucky enough to know how awesome hounds can be!

Cookie, Camille, Cinnamon and Charlotte are 10 week old female Catahoula mix puppies who weigh around 10 lbs. They were surrendered to the city pound at 6 weeks of age and were very scared prior to being rescued. Cookie, Cinnamon and Charlotte were the most scared and shy while in foster but have slowly started to come out of their shell and thrive being around other dogs. It will take a few days for them to relax and feel safe in their new homes so they will need patient and understanding adopters. We’d recommend these three go to homes that have other dogs to continue to build their confidence. Camille is a more outgoing and confident puppy but affectionate and great with other dogs. They are up to date on vaccines for their age and microchipped. Our pups come with one month of free pet insurance when you adopt.
