Story
Percy is part of a bonded pair. He comes with his brother Marvin in a separate profile.Marvin (littermates). He's almost 11 months old. Born on 7/24/25. I acquired him and his brother on a visit to see my uncle in NC. He had multiple dogs on his property, one of which had obviously recently given birth. He and his brother were approximately 8 weeks old and were still nursing. I have a large goldendoodle at home and thought it would be crazy to take home a puppy, so I didn't. I thought about them for weeks and ended up returning for another visit and took them both home. I planned to keep Marvin and rehome his brother Percy but when I realized how bonded they were I kept them both. I love them so much . They love my dog and play ALL THE TIME.They are both quite rambunctious and love to play. Percy is the scaredy cat of the group. They are both a bit "barky" but easily corrected. They have some training but def could use more I could write so much more but letters are limited. See videos

He had multiple dogs on his property, one of which had obviously recently given birth. He and his brother were approximately 8 weeks old. I have a large goldendoodle at home and they all get along very well. I love them all so much but am just not able to care for 3 dogs with my schedule. They love my dog and play ALL THE TIME. They are both quite rambunctious and love to play. Marvin is very lovey and curious, but does have some food aggression issues that we are working on . He is a bit "barky" but can be distracted. He also needs a slow introduction to other dogs but then is just fine. He has some training but could use more for sure. This is very hard for me to give he and his brother up but I just pray that they will find a super loving home. I could write so much more but space here is limited. I'm happy to post pics and video. And I am happy to answer any questions

Story
The best relationships are built on trust, patience, love, and the quiet decision to keep showing up for one another. Crumb is looking for that kind of connection—the kind where someone understands that the greatest bonds are often the ones worth waiting for. Crumb is a deeply sweet, gentle girl who’s learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. Naturally shy with new people and unfamiliar situations, she takes a little time to warm up. She’s also naturally submissive, preferring to avoid conflict and take her cues from those around her. But once she trusts you, you’ll discover a loving, sensitive companion with the sweetest heart. One thing is certain: Crumb absolutely adores other dogs. They are her comfort, her confidence, and her favorite companions. She is wonderful with dogs of all sizes and truly thrives in their company. Having a friendly, confident canine buddy helps her feel secure enough to let her playful personality shine. Whether she’s playing, chewing on her favorite toys, or simply relaxing alongside her dog friends, Crumb is happiest when she’s part of the pack. Every day, Crumb grows a little braver. She’s becoming more comfortable with visitors in her foster home, settling in more quickly and showing increasing curiosity instead of fear. She’s also making wonderful progress on leash walks, especially in quieter areas, and continues to surprise her foster family with just how much she’s blossoming. She’s the kind of dog who makes you celebrate every small victory—a tail wag, a curious sniff, choosing to come closer—because each one represents a huge step forward. While Crumb is believed to be a coonhound mix, she’s actually smaller than your average coonhound, making her a wonderful medium-sized companion. Crumb is looking for a calm, patient home that understands confidence and trust can’t be rushed. A friendly resident dog is essential, as she relies on canine companionship for reassurance and guidance. She would do best in a quieter environment rather than busy city living, with older, respectful children if there are kids in the home. A securely fenced yard would be a huge bonus, and while experience with shy or undersocialized dogs is helpful, what matters most is a family willing to offer kindness, consistency, and unconditional love. Crumb may never be the dog who rushes up to greet every stranger, but for the person willing to earn her trust, the relationship you’ll build will be incredibly special. She reminds us that love doesn’t always happen instantly—sometimes the most beautiful bonds are built one patient moment at a time. And the best part? Crumb is already trying. She wants to trust. She wants to love. She’s simply waiting for the person who will meet her where she is and help her discover just how wonderful life can be. Her foster and our rescue will also happily provide guidance and support after adoption to help her continue thriving in her new home. Crumb is fostered in Reading (Berks County), Pennsylvania and is ready to find her forever family. www.mostlymuttz.org Link to Crumb’s bio: https://www.wagtopia.com/search/pet?id=2599114&name=Crumb Meet Me Program: Dogs featured in our Meet Me Program are participating simply because their foster or a dedicated volunteer is willing and able to take part—this is not based on breed, personality, behavior, or how long a dog has been waiting for a home. Because Mostly Muttz Rescue does not have a physical shelter location, this program allows adopters to connect directly with the people who know each dog best. It’s a great opportunity to ask questions, learn more about daily life with the dog, and even schedule an individual meet & greet at an approved location—either before applying or while your application is pending. To get started, email meet_me@mostlymuttz.org with your contact information, and the dog’s foster or volunteer will be in touch. #mostlymuttzrescue #adoptable #shybutworthit ##2599114##

Story
Lady is being fostered in TX. HI! I am delighted that you are interested in knowing more about me! I am about 3 months old*. My absolute passions are EAT, MOVE and Cuddle! In fact, among my many super pawers is my super sense of smell, so I became highly excited when smelling delicious foods around me! My foster mamma and I are working hard to learn how to harness this super power! My second super power is my high level of energy and my strong curiosity, I guess that makes three super powers, isn’ it? If you don’t give me a job to do, I will find it on my own! So it is very important for me that you become my guiding light. Yet, I also want you to be soft and cuddle with me in quiet times, since I actively look for bonding, reassurance, and safety. I am good with kiddos, but I will prefer kiddos 6+ since I - for now - get excited and might scratch them by accident. Also, I highly benefit from tolerant and playful siblings who can help me balance when the puppyhood zoomies come! Did I tell you that I am already potty trained? YUP!!! I am proudly potty trained. Regarding my eyes, I have Microphthalmia which “is a congenital condition where one or both eyeballs are abnormally small” on my right eye. My foster momma is seeing a little cloudiness on my left eye*, so I am going to visit an eye specialist in mid August. However, I have not presented any issue navigating the house, jumping the stairs, or avoiding any obstacles in the backyard. I am sure my foster momma will update any relevant info after our appointment. Are you ready to love me? * By the time of this writing on July 2nd. BDRA has voted against the use of eletrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
Meet Chance: Chance is about a 3 year old (as of July 2026) beagle / corgi mix (best guess) that weighs about 25 pounds. Chance was in a group of dogs taken in by animal control in Brownsville, TN. The owner got sick and sadly passed away, leaving multiple unaltered dogs behind that had been living together. Luckily they are now safe in rescue and being cared for. Chance is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Chance is a nice dog that is a great size. Chance is currently house trained to a doggie door and may need patience while adjusting to a new process. We would love for Chance to have a home with a fenced in yard so he can roam and play freely. Chance is up to date on his shots and neutered. If you are interested in adding this sweet man into your life, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application. Story
This handsome hunk is Hugo! He was surrendered to the shelter and is now searching for his true furever home. He is a lovebug who absolutely adores attention. He is kid, cat, and dog friendly as well! He has also been trained, but he does need to be crated when left alone, because he is destructive otherwise. True to his breed he can be quite vocal, so apartment living may not be the ideal fit. Hugo is a sweetheart who just wants companionship and a family who will love him for exactly who he is. ---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm.---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org
