Story
Meet Ruger 🖤Ruger is a handsome, intelligent boy who has really started to show us who he truly is. At first, his intense personality and barrier reactivity toward certain dogs made us cautious, but as he’s settled in, we’ve seen a completely different side of him emerge.Ruger has done wonderfully with several dogs in playgroups, Watching him play for the first time was such a rewarding moment! Even when another dog got overly excited around treats, Ruger stood his ground appropriately and did not react negatively. He seems to thrive once he knows and trusts his “pack.”He is great with people, walks well on leash, and is very food motivated he’ll happily come inside for a treat after yard time. Ruger would do best with proper introductions and continued structure.Ruger is looking for someone who understands that some dogs just need time, trust, and consistency to shine. Underneath his tough exterior is a loyal, smart, and really special dog ready for his chance at a forever home. 🐾

Story
Meet Sweet Caroline! Let me tell you, she is one special girl. This adorable 7-month-old, 44 pound,  Kemmer Cur/Blue Tick Hound mix is the definition of a sweet hound dog through and through. Sweet Caroline is very fun and affectionate and absolutely adores other dogs and children. She gets along wonderfully with the resident dogs and loves playing with the two kids (ages 6 and 10) every day.Her coloring is simply stunning and makes her stand out in the best way. She has striking brindle-style stripes of the Cur running down her back and the most beautiful blue-ticked speckles on her belly, legs, and paws. This unique coloring gives her an eye-catching look that turns heads everywhere she goes. Sweet Caroline is house trained, but still very much a puppy. She loves to play and is very eager to learn. She loves to play and picks up new things quickly. This bright girl would do well with dogs, children, and a fenced yard. She loves to run and play outside. She is also crate trained and comfortable in it. She also sleeps all night so you can be assured that there won't be any 3 am potty trips. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving, and incredibly smart companion who will bring endless joy, tail wags, and love into your life, Sweet Caroline is ready and waiting to be your furever girl. Come meet her—you’re going to fall head over heels!   Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue about her at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   We adopt to Tennessee and also transport to the northeastern corridor to be available to 12 more states and their families.   ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
