Story
Penelope is a sweet one-family owned coonhound. She's housebroken, and if not for currently living in an apartment and having a busy work-life schedule, we would keep her because even living in an apartment, she is sweet and loving with my 4 year old son. She's strong, energetic, and accustom to playing off leash but is recently leashed more often (because of the switch to an apartment) and is pretty good at that but occasionally pulls. At the end of the day, she can be a bit of a couch potato. Looking for a stable home where she can primarily live indoors along with a backyard or regular walks. Looking for someone that will spoil her rotten. Likes kids and play time. I'm also including a bag of her favorite toys.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Teri is a beautiful girl who has spent much of her life in shelters—four different ones since 2022. Despite that, she has remained a loving, gentle soul. She does wonderfully with kids and dogs of all sizes and ages. Teri is a no for cats, as she tends to pester them relentlessly (for everyone’s sanity, including hers). She truly doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. While she may be a little shy when meeting new people, she warms up quickly and forms strong bonds. Teri enjoys playtime and can be vocal while playing, so we’re looking for an adopter who is comfortable with barking, growling, and noisy play—especially someone with dog experience. She is smart, attentive, and happiest when she’s right by your side. At 4 years old and a petite 30 pounds, Juno may be small in size, but her heart is pure gold. This sweet girl has quickly captured all of our hearts in the short time she’s been here, and it’s easy to see why! She loves every person she meets and absolutely adores other dogs. Her happy, loving personality shines wherever she goes. Juno does have an old pelvic injury that causes some constipation issues. The good news? With daily Miralax, she does great and has no trouble at all. She handles her routine like a champ and doesn’t let it slow her down one bit. Juno is the kind of dog who will snuggle up close, greet you with a wagging tail, and remind you every day how special rescue dogs truly are. She’s ready to give her whole heart to a family of her own, and trust us, whoever adopts her is going to be so lucky.
