Clancy is a senior bluetick coonhound with the classic hound looks and a gentle, easygoing nature to match. He’s calm, affectionate, and enjoys the simple things: soft places to nap, leisurely walks, and spending time near his people. Clancy would do best in a home that understands the needs of a senior dog and is happy to give him a comfortable, low-key place to relax. Clancy is currently undergoing heartworm treatment. Heartworm disease is treatable, and many dogs go on to live happy, healthy lives after completing treatment. During treatment, dogs need restricted activity to allow their bodies to heal and to reduce strain on the heart and lungs. Treatment is done in stages and often takes several months from start to finish, including rest time after injections. A rescue or veterinary team will guide adopters through the process and help with follow-up care. Clancy is looking for a patient, compassionate home willing to support him through the remainder of his treatment and into his golden years. In return, he offers quiet companionship, loyalty, and the kind of love only a senior hound can give.

He’s thriving in his foster home and showing off what a wonderful addition he’ll be to a lucky family. Colby has an easygoing, happy personality and loves being part of the action. He enjoys playtime and does well with other dogs, making him a great fit for a home with canine companions or for someone looking for a dog-friendly pup. He does very well in his crate with no issues and settles nicely when it’s time to relax. Like many young dogs, Colby is still polishing his household manners and is currently working on keeping his paws off the counter. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Teri is a beautiful girl that has been in a shelter most of her life (totaling 4 different shelters since 2022). She is great with kids and dogs of all sizes and ages. She pesters the hell out of cats which is why she is a no for cats (for their sanity as well as hers). She doesn't have a mean bone in her body and while she may be a little shy with new people, she warms up quickly. Her play noises may be a bit much for someone inexperienced with dogs so we do prefer someone comfortable with barking/growling/noisy play to consider adoption.
