You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Meet Riley! Riley is 5 years old. Riley is a sweet, loving dog who is nearly housebroken (except for some rare morning accidents) and does great with most other dogs. He's currently in a foster home where we are getting to know him better and helping him put his best paw forward. Riley is a work in progress in the best way- we're currently focused on helping him feel his healthiest and most confident. He is currently underweight, and we are working with our vet to help him gain strength and weight. He's a sensitive soul who gets a little anxious when left alone, so he currently needs to be crated when left alone to prevent him from destructive anxious behaviors, while we help him build confidence and teach that he is safe to relax. We're exploring options with our vet, including behavioral support, to set him up for long-term success. Riley would thrive in a patient, loving home with someone who understands that anxious dogs just need time, consistency, and compassion. One thing we've learned about Riley is that having a canine companion by his side makes a real difference. A doggy roommate helps him feel secure and settled, so a home with another friendly dog would be ideal for him. Story
Penelope is a sweet one-family owned coonhound. She's housebroken, and if not for currently living in an apartment and having a busy work-life schedule, we would keep her because even living in an apartment, she is sweet and loving with my 4 year old son. She's strong, energetic, and accustom to playing off leash but is recently leashed more often (because of the switch to an apartment) and is pretty good at that but occasionally pulls. At the end of the day, she can be a bit of a couch potato. Looking for a stable home where she can primarily live indoors along with a backyard or regular walks. Looking for someone that will spoil her rotten. Likes kids and play time. I'm also including a bag of her favorite toys.
