. Harvey is our resident love bug. He wants nothing more than ear scratches and belly rubs. Harvey will nudge you ever so gently to get your attention for more rubs. He has good leash manners and enjoys going on walks. Harvey also enjoys jogging with his human companions. He would do best in a home where he is the one and only. He is selfish and wants all the loving for himself. Harvey would do best in a home with older kids. He is crate trained and house trained.  He is part blue tick hound which gives him a cute, unique barkish howl.  Make Harvey your companion for life.  Harvey is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and altered.Harvey is located in Harper, Texas but can be transported to any location in the US or Canada for adoption. ##1499366##

Story
Tucker is a very sweet 3 year old Blue tick coon hound that weighs 62 pounds and is fully vaccinated and neutered. He has no major health issues. I do use a special medicated shampoo when I give him weekly baths to prevent ingrown hairs and I clean his ears several times a month but other than that he’s a solid healthy guy. He loves going on adventures, I take him everywhere with me that allows dogs and is always the star of the show. You will get a lot of attention in public. His favorite activity is going to the dog park. This is the best way for him to get out some energy. Our living situation is very specific (we live at work) and a few months ago Tucker unfortunately nipped one of the employees that’s not around very much (he was totally fine and had nothing to show for it) It wasn’t a full on bite but it has caused enough drama where I think a normal house hold would be best. I’ve never had any issues in my actual house or in public and still feel confident in his kindness.

I’m sweet, gentle, and full of love — the kind of love that makes me lean into you during quiet moments and follow you from room to room just to be near. I’m fully potty trained, great on a leash, and friendly with other dogs. My energy level is low to medium — enough for a walk or some playtime, but I’m just as happy lounging by your side. I’d make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a steady, loving presence. If you’re ready for a loyal best friend with a gentle soul, I’m your guy. My name’s Drew — and I can’t wait to love you. I am currently located in Texas but am available for adoption in multiple states across the country. My out of state adoption fee is $750. This fee helps cover the cost of care while I was at the shelter AND the cost of transporting me home! This includes: spay/neuter, if unaltered upon intake. age-appropriate vaccinations during time in care. a registered microchip if unchipped upon intake. a heartworm test if over six months of age. current flea/tick prevention during time in care. 3(+) broad spectrum deworming treatment. any medical expenses while in care. a health certificate for travel. the cost of travel (drivers, gas, and vehicle maintenance if via our route, or up to $200 in crate rental fees if on another transporter’s route!) Every adoption through the SPCA of Brazoria County also come with a PetSmart adoption kit, and some coupons for PetCo!
