. Harvey is our resident love bug. He wants nothing more than ear scratches and belly rubs. Harvey will nudge you ever so gently to get your attention for more rubs. He has good leash manners and enjoys going on walks. Harvey also enjoys jogging with his human companions. He would do best in a home where he is the one and only. He is selfish and wants all the loving for himself. Harvey would do best in a home with older kids. He is crate trained and house trained.  He is part blue tick hound which gives him a cute, unique barkish howl.  Make Harvey your companion for life.  Harvey is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and altered.Harvey is located in Harper, Texas but can be transported to any location in the US or Canada for adoption. ##1499366##

They’re up to date on vaccines, and their neuters are already scheduled as they prepare for their next chapter. Stu and Steve love exploring the world through their noses, soaking up attention, and spending time with people. Like true hounds, they’re curious, affectionate, and always ready for an adventure, whether that’s a walk around the neighborhood or relaxing at home after playtime. At just a year old, they’re still young enough for plenty of fun and learning but are already growing into loyal, loving companions. Meet Kahlo! Kahlo is a happy 10 year old Catahoula Hound mix who was adopted from Wet Nose Foster Paws 5 years ago and is now looking for a new home with no young kids or dogs. 12+ old kids are ok. He has sweet golden eyes and a personality that is equal parts spunky, awkward, and charming. Friends have called him the one-eared wonder because he was adopted with one ear. He has done well with cats in the past and would do best in a home as the only dog. He quickly warms up to new people and loves to snuggle and find a nice cozy spot to nap. His nose guides him to love smelling on walks and exploring treat puzzles/toys. He is very food motivated so training has gone well with his family. Kahlo is super smart - he knows basic commands (sit, stay, down, circle, go to your spot), he is recall trained to come when called, house trained, loves treats, and will flourish in a home with no small children or other dogs. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped.

She Is 4 years old. Don’t give up on willow. I need to find her a good home. I will miss will Willow everyday of my life. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. But I need her in a home that will be patient with her. She was attacked by a pittbull a year ago and has been dog aggressive ever since. I gave made major progress with her. She isn’t aggressive with other dogs, she has to know they won’t hurt her first. I wouldn’t give up on willow. I just have to move into a house who doesn’t allow dogs.

Welcome Reba to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 1-year-old Shepherd/Greyhound mix dog. She weighs about 65 pounds and is long and leggy. She is a great dog and would make a good running, jogging or walking companion. She has long legs so she could keep stride. She has tons of energy so she would be best with an athletic and active family. She could go with children. She is active so 8 or up would be best. Her best home would be with a fenced yard and time to finish off her training. She was probably gotten as a puppy and put in the backyard. She now is dog sized but has puppy skills. She is a wonderful dog and with some training will make a wonderful family pet. She was rescued from one of the local high kill shelters that are over flowing and asking for help. CCPAL stepped up for her. She is healthy, vaccinated and will be spayed before she leaves the Rescue. She is in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 250 and transport is 180.
