Story
Hi, I am Bonita, the pretty one!Thank you for checking out my profile, I am looking for a good home where I can be loved as part of the family. I get along great with other dogs and cats too. I am even very gentle with the new kittens in my foster home. I love children especially when they play with me, and I can give them hugs and kisses. I am learning to walk on a leash because that is a new thing for me. It is not that bad because I get to walk close to my foster mom. I don’t get excited on the walk and know how to stay calm. I love to go for a walk there are so many sniffs that I can get. I would probably love to go hiking with you too if that is what you like. I am good in the car and would love to go to the beach with you, I hear it is fantastic.I will need some training for basic commands, but I am a smart girl who will catch on very quickly. I already know to go to the bathroom outside which is a good thing, right? If you like what you hear and think I would be a good fit for your family, then just fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Lots of love to give.Bonita To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. . Harvey is our resident love bug. He wants nothing more than ear scratches and belly rubs. Harvey will nudge you ever so gently to get your attention for more rubs. He has good leash manners and enjoys going on walks. Harvey also enjoys jogging with his human companions. He would do best in a home where he is the one and only. He is selfish and wants all the loving for himself. Harvey would do best in a home with older kids. He is crate trained and house trained.  He is part blue tick hound which gives him a cute, unique barkish howl.  Make Harvey your companion for life.  Harvey is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and altered.Harvey is located in Harper, Texas but can be transported to any location in the US or Canada for adoption. ##1499366##

Story
Blue is an amazing dog but needs to be a single dog home or with one female. Does not get along with other male dogs in the house. Blue has never shown aggression towards humans and is a dopey lovable guy that just wants to relax beside you. Kennel trained, house broken, and trained to sit-shake. Does not like to have his nails clipped but he manicures them himself. Blue loves to chase his tail. Would love to see him go with someone that would be able to give him the attention he deserves. Blue loves to go hiking, camping, car rides and loves open fields. I have him trained to be walked off leash in areas I trust that it will be just us. Has been around large and small female dogs with no issues. Has been raised with 2 older kids 10+ and has no issues with them.

These pups are in Seattle, Washington too!

Story
Hi, I’m Chica,Hey, I caught you looking at my profile, that makes me happy. I am ready for my new forever home. I live with several dogs and cats now. I get along with all of them, but it is time for me to be with my own family. I am a pretty strong and active dog, I walk well on a leash but sometimes when I see something interesting I can pull on the leash. I am working on it, but some things are just so tempting. I love to be active, so if you are into hiking, jogging, or playing fetch we would get along great. My foster mom says I am the sweetest dog, but she might be biased. I do like to have fun and play with the other dogs, and I am good when I meet new people too. I am good on car rides, like to go to the beach, and love to be around my family. I will need some training so I can be the best dog ever, so if you have a little patience it would be great. My ideal family will be active. I imagine us going for long walks and exploring new trails and sniffing all the great scents there. I imagine playing in the backyard with older kids and then settling down for a nice nap in a warm bed. Wow, I can’t wait. If that sounds like we could be a match, then just fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Lots of love to give,Chica To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Story
Comet is wonderful. Looking to rehome him because my wife and I are unable to give him the attention / exercise he deserves. We have tried for 18 months after our twins were born and we can't make it work. Based on Seattle. Comet is 4 (Jan. 2024). He is a healthy, young, vibrant dog - Catahoula Leopard Dog mix. He is crate/house-trained, goofy, silly, smart, and stubborn. He has gone to a 3-week board and train program and knows place, down, heel, and sit. He responds really well to an e-collar and a prong collar for walking. He is not food possessive. He is good with our kids (2 babies and toddler), as long as they don't pull fur / corner him He will only give a small bark warning and then remove himself from the situation. He has not lived with cats before. He lives with our senior dog and they play regularly. He deserves daily exercise - one 30-60 minute walk or a short run (30 minutes) is great. He loves hiking. He doesn't like swimming in our experience.

Story
Comet is wonderful, but our family isn't able to give him the attention or exercise that he needs and deserves since we unexpectedly had twins in 2022. Comet is 4.5Y, 70lbs, healthy, goofy, smart, and loves people. He's crate, house, and leash trained. Comet went to a 3-week board and train program two years ago and knows all the fundamentals. He responds really well to verbal affirmation, e-collars (to minimize fence guarding in our backyard) and a prong collar for walking. He's not food possessive and tolerates our kids (18M twins and 3.5Y), giving a small warning growl or bark if they pull fur or corner/lay on him before removing himself from the situation. He lives with our senior dog and they play regularly and have never had significant issues. He's never lived with cats. Comet deserves daily exercise - one 30-60 minute walk or a short run (30 minutes) is great. He loves hiking. He doesn't like swimming and can be a bit fearful of new things.
