Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet. This brother/sister duo is quite the team.  They are so happy with each other, they just play, play, play.  I will be getting a video of them playing that I will be able to text to anyone interested. Yes, they were born in the same litter, the black one is a male, PEPE and SALTINI is the girl.  One parent was a poodle and one parent was a Maltese.  They are both non-shedders. They came with their names but really do not recognize them. SALTINI is more curly and PEPE's hair is wavy/straight.  They are 1 1/2 years old and weigh 10 pounds.  These 2 are very bonded and will need to be adopted together.  They were owner surrendered to me as their owner begin experiencing some medical issues and could not care for them any longer. I received PEPE with a bacterial skin infection that was instantly diagnosed and treated.  He looks so much better now that the medication is healing him.  He is still healing but NOT contagious.  He has one last vet visit on Monday, March 9, 2026 and will be available to go to his new home after that.  There was nothing wrong with his sister at all.  PEPE has been groomed and SALTINI is next to be groomed. Both are very happy dogs and easy to care for because they are content to play with each other and run zoomies in the back yard and sometimes through the kitchen and living room.  It is a joy to watch them play.  They also play with the other foster dogs in the home.  PEPE is the first to come and want some love and to cuddle, SALTINI follows, she is the quiet one. They are crate and potty trained.  SALTINI will lick my leg to let me know she wants to go potty, PEPE is more lazy and will wait to go out with everyone else, he is not a leg lifter.  Both are routine type dogs and easy to care for on a daily basis.  They will bring you such joy and happiness into your home. If you are interested in adopting them, please submit an application on the website below.  I have more pictures to provide.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org       ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Mabel — Ready for Her Sweet Retirement Mabel is a 10&#226&#128&#145year&#226&#128&#145old Bichon who was recently released from a life of making puppies. She arrived in our care in pretty rough shape, but with gentle handling, good food, and a much&#226&#128&#145needed grooming, she’s finally discovering what it feels like to be loved and cared for Despite everything she’s been through, Mabel has a playful little spark — every now and then she gets these adorable bursts of puppy energy that make everyone smile. And when she’s done? She’s a champion napper, happiest curled up in her cozy bed in the kitchen. She also does well in a crate and finds comfort in having her own little space. Mabel is still learning the basics — stairs, leash walking, and housetraining — but she’s trying, and she’ll get there with patience and routine. She’s a gentle, sensitive girl who enjoys people and would love a calm home where she can be pampered the way she always deserved. She’d do well with another friendly dog and would be fine with older, quieter kids who understand her pace. Rambunctious little ones aren’t really her style anymore. Her recent grooming made her feel like a brand&#226&#128&#145new dog — she looks adorable and feels so much better! She’ll need regular grooming to keep her comfortable and looking her best. Mabel’s dream home is peaceful, loving, and ready to spoil her through her golden years. She has so much sweetness left to give Could you be the one to give Mabel the soft landing she’s waited her whole life for? Mabel is now spayed, up to date on core vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  She also had bloodwork and a dental done while in our care.  Her adoption fee is $400 to help with her vetting costs. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 20, 2026, 1:44 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Annie is ready for adoption! She is a 3-year-old Mini Goldendoodle who weighs 18 pounds. Recently released from a breeder, Annie is learning what it means to be a dog in a loving home. Annie is a sweet little girl who just wants a couch to snuggle on and watch from afar. She is very timid and will take time to adjust to her new home. Once she knows she is safe, she will ask for your affection, but it will take time. She will sit on the couch with you, but not right next to you, at first. She will sleep in your bed, but jump off when you move. She has love to give, but it will be on her own time. Eventually, she will give kisses and even paw at you for some scratches. Annie will come into her own and having another confident dog in the home will help her learn; she loves playing with other dogs, especially outside. She does not walk on a leash, so she will need a fully fenced area to go outside (no invisible fences). Especially at first, she will be considered a flight risk. Annie requires a quiet home, as she is scared of quick movements and loud noises, so a home with no young children will suit her best. She doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body, she would just be very scared. Annie uses a crate when her foster family isn’t home, because she is still exploring and can get into things she shouldn’t, like toilet paper rolls! Otherwise, she has the run of the house. She is not completely housebroken, but will go out with the other dogs in the house, just not on her own. House training was going better before the snow came! She will use a pee pad overnight, though. Annie is spayed, up to date with core vaccines, microchipped, and tested neg. for heartworm.  She has also been professionally groomed!  Her adoption fee is $475 We require that a martingale collar be used at the time of adoption. If you do not have a martingale collar, you can purchase one from Pixie Mamas for an additional $10. This requirement is in place to ensure the dog's safety and security.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 10, 2026, 1:50 pm
