Story
Coming in at a whopping 13 lbs, sweet, 6 year old, curious and affectionate Octavius is seeking a more calm environment as quickly as possible. He can have a few friends, but he's very against bullying and would prefer to no longer be a victim. He would love a home without dogs, and would be okay with another cat, as long as they are calm. He gets along fabulously with Clancy, another cat in the rescue. All of our rescues are FeLV/FIV tested, given age appropriate vaccines, spayed/neutered, and microchipped! Our adoption fee is $125 no matter age or breed. Visit Alabama's only nonprofit cat lounge, Cattyshack, Inc. Friday-Saturday! Reservations required! cattyshackhsv.org @cattyshackhsv #rescueloungeadopt

Story
Malin is a striking tuxedo cat with an inquisitive and quirky personality. He is a bit overweight (~20lb) due to his obsession with food and being lazy. He usually only interacts with us on his terms. That said, he LOVES certain wand toys and will play with those until he’s wiped out. He will also be your best friend if you have a bowl of ice cream. He occasionally likes to snuggle up with our dogs and does well with our young kids, for the most part. He would do well in a home with another cat or dog to play with and someone who can dedicate more time than we can to help him lose some weight.

Story
We adopted Cheeto very recently, he's super sweet and loves loving. He's also very playful. He just didn't gel well with our current cat. His hyper personality doesn't mix with her mellow personality. He'd probably be really well with another hyper cat or a dog. But I'm thinking he's better off solo. He has had some stool issues, his stomach is a tad weak to new foods so his poop will be soft until he's used to the food. He also like to bite your blanket and make biscuits, which then turns into him humping you. TL;DR Cheeto is a sweet cat who is very loving and playful. He didn't mix with our current cat. He has some food sensitivity issues but he'll get adjusted to food. And he humps when he's making biscuits.
