Story
Meet Sister Mary Eunice! She is estimated to be roughly 1yr and 3 months. I found her in a carrier on the side of a dumpster and she has been loving ever since! She is a happy girl who has a big personality. When she wants loving she will not only tell you but show you! She was very scared the first week we found her but as soon as she realized she was in a safe place she showed her affection and happiness! She is all black with some white and beautiful green eyes! I have all the videos but minimal pictures! She would be great with another young cat that can play with her until her nap time.

Story
* Tyson and Elvira are BONDED and must be adopted together. Tyson and Elvira are beautiful senior cats who have lived with several kids. They love catnip and to be brushed and cuddled, but don't want to be in a home with dogs or other cats. Tyson is a big cat at 24 lbs who loves soft, pate food, his cat scratcher and tower. He loves to be brushed, held and carried. Elvira is cautious at first, but once she warms up, she'll be your best friend, and will want to be petted all the time. She is a hunter, catching flies and scorpions in the house. The adoption fee for bonded pairs is $300, so if you decide to adopt you will pay $150 for each cat. Both have received a microchip, FVRCP vaccines and spay/neuter surgery. If you would like to set up a Meet & Greet and be considered for adoption, please click on the button with the pet’s name to fill out an application. Someone will contact you within 24 hours. If you have difficulty with the application, please email us at Rescue@AnthemPets.org. NOTE: Only Arizona based adoption inquiries will be considered. Anthem Pets Website: www.anthempets.org

Story
Todd is 9 years old, deaf, and was born in Guam in 2016 (we got him at 2 months old). He has always been an inside cat. We all came back to the mainland US in 2020. He has been around other cats his entire life but he seems to be an old man who doesn’t like to share. Todd has not been using the litter box correctly for almost half his life even though vet visits before we moved, and even the ones after moving have all been good. We have tried all different types of litter, multiple boxes, multiple automatic boxes, and nothing works. At this point we’re not sure if he just doesn’t like our home/other animals in the house. He’s friendly, cuddles, and will cuddle with the other cats, but also will growl while eating and start fights around the house. Along with the litter box issues we’ve been trying to accommodate him for 5 years but nothing we try seems to work. We love him but we’re not sure he likes our home anymore.

Story
He is full of personality and attitude! He also likes to be around other people's company. I've had him for about a year and I have not been able to get him comfortable with my other cat. He deserves a good home with good people and without other animals.

Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Loki was a gift from my mother who fostered her in 2010 so I am expecting her being senior age. For 12 years, she did not have a good life because we went through a narssasistic abusive relationship with my ex. From 2019 to 2021, she had a foster mom when I was in housing situations. She is to believed to have feline asthma. I am going to be in between housing situations and jobs again as of May 1 and regardless I can not keep up with the vet visits and paying for her asthma medication. From 2021 till today, she lived alone with me. I do not know if she gets along with animals or children. So I do not know how she is. But she is shy when you meet her and will eventually be friendly and silly once you get to know her.

Story
Flower was found on the street and taken in. She has always been very sweet and playful. She's good around dogs and kids. She can be shy and hide when she is somewhere new. She is very independent. You'll know when she's ready to hang out, though, because she will have a full conversation with you. Vet said she was about 1 year and it's been about 6 months since that visit. Only issue is owner has been having recurring medical issues that doctors believe is due to a cat allergy. Flower deserves a wonderful home.

Story
Rescued cats need new home Meet Laverne and Shirley. I have been taking care of these cuties for a couple of years now, ever since they were abandoned by their owners, who used to be my neighbors. The landlord does not allow pets, and I never intended to have pets, so I am looking for a new home for them. They are sisters, about five years old. They are very tame, house-trained and like human contact. They can be good with other cats and kids, once they are acclimated. From what I have observed, they are calm around dogs as long as the dogs are calm around them. They have both been spayed and vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP. It would be nice if they were adopted together, but what is most important is that the find new homes.
