American Shorthair kittens & cats in Phoenix, Arizona

Scotty and Diana have been hanging out in one of my grandmas spare rooms since we trapped them back in mid December. Due to unforeseen circumstances, they need to be out by the 1st of February!!! We need a long-term foster, and QUICK!! Have a spare bedroom for these easy keepers? Litter box trained, no spraying or marking and both are altered! Everything you need will be provided, food, litter, veterinary, EVERYTHING! They're both former ferals, so they take some time to warm up. My grandma is now able to pet Scotty Diana takes a little longer to warm up, but was rubbing against my Grandma's leg by the 3rd week! Home check required

Here is a pretty girl. Cleopatra, the Queen of denial, was born May 2nd 2021 and was spayed and vaccinated Nov 10th, 2021. She is a big girl who can be a bit adorably dramatic at times, talking to you in a some what loud voice. She likes to chase flies and wrestle with a kitten, she loves toys that roll. She has no time to acknowledge the old dogs she lives with but mostly likes to chill on the couch or by the arcadia door. She loves to sit on your lap and have her head scratched. She is very loving yet independent. She is an indoor cat who, because of my and my daughters allergies, needs to find a loving forever home, and would be a great addition to any ones family. We feed her Friskies dry and canned twice a day. She is a great cat. And would be a great companion.

Hi, my name is Tony and I'm GREAT! Tony is a big boy, born April 5, 2022 in a litter of 5. He was fixed and got his shots June 20, 2023. He loves belly rubs, petting and being carried. He is very active, and adventurous. He is very fast and always playing. He still lives with one of his brothers, Hissy Fit, the two are constantly playing together. He likes most of the cats he lives with except 2 of the females, who are fixed, I have not put them together now that he is fixed too so I don't know if things changed. He was born indoors and has never been outside. He would be a great addition to some ones family.

Hissy Fit is a Boy born April 5, 2022. We named him Hissy Fit due to him hissing at anything and everything since he could walk. He was fixed and received his shots June 20, 2023. He is extremely adventurous, there is something in the drain that he is always getting into the sink to find it (what ever it is). He loves to play with the other cats especially his brother, Tony, or by himself. He loves to be pet when it's food time, he can be held but not long and he is trying to get away to play. We used block the stairs as a no go zone but he jumps the boxes and would go anyway. Very active and very fast. He was born indoors and has never been outside. I think he would be fun to have him for his independent spirit.

Mayhem is a male born Mar 17,2021 and he was fixed and received his vaccinations Aug 11, 2022. Mayhem is a very loving cat that likes to be with you, getting pets, booping and kissing. He is an indoor cat who has only been out for the Vet. He does get scared in new surroundings and has to hide or get back to his bed, He once managed to sneak out to the garage and after being left out for a minute he couldn't get back to the bedroom fast enough. He needs patience and understanding, if you can do that for him you will have a loving friend for life.

Lawyer was born March 25 in a litter of 4. We called her Lawyer for 2 reasons, we didn't know she was a girl, and she objected to everything, she growled at her toys, her food, other cats (even if they were across the room asleep) and mostly she objected to me lifting her tail to see if she was a boy. She is healthy, playful, extremely (and even annoyingly) loving, always climbing into your lap to cuddle. She was fixed and received her shots Jan 16, so she wont be ready to adopt till Jan 26. She is an indoor cat that has never been outside. She loves to rub on the dogs, who are not aggressive so she doesn't have the fear she needs. She likes toys but mostly loves hanging out with her humans. She would make a wonderful addition to a loving family.

Wavy is a sweet lover of quiet time and cuddles. She was whapped in the face by another cat when she was young and impressionable and it turned her “i want to cuddle everything and everyone” into needing to gain her trust first. She may be timid at first but once she warms up to you all she wants is to sit in your lap and nap. Sola is an adventurer at heart. She loves to explore but always comes back to cuddle. She is the brave sister and will come say hi to anyone. They both run and hide from kids, but if forced to face them they are sweet and allow themselves to be pet. Both of them are such sweet girls and I hope to find a great home for them together, however if they need to separate I understand and as well.

Maple is a kitten who loves people. She is about 6 months old. She really loves being pet, and will lay on your lap as much as she can! She was found outside our apartment complex. The maintenance team found her owners who said they didn’t want her. She was outside starving for a month. She snuck into an apartment they were remodeling and had some paint on her which is mostly gone. We’ve had her for 2.5 weeks and have gotten her weight up significantly as she was skin and bones. She seems perfectly healthy and has had no signs of health issues. We are not sure if she is spayed. Or has had her vaccinations. We are looking for a home for her urgently as our cat is very timid and scared around other cats!

He has lived in a shelter  for a number of years after his owner passed away.  Prince is a very cautious guy around new humans but loves the company of other cats. He has come a long way since first arriving at the shelter. He enjoys being brushed, rubbed with scatcher, and petted on his back. He loves Fancy Feast too! Prince would be consider a "socially awkard cat".  What is a socially awkward cat?  Some cats are shy, timid, or fearful of people and other cats. They may hide, avoid, or even lash out when approached by strangers. These cats are not mean or unlovable; they are just socially awkward and need extra time and patience to trust and bond with their human companions. They may never become affectionate lap cats, but they have their own unique ways of showing love and appreciation. I adopted Bella when she was 7 weeks old, she's almost 5 years old now. She's very sweet and while she may be shy at first, she loves pets and likes to cuddle. Her purring will let you know you're doing everything right. She is also playful and knows how to look cute. She's never been aggressive towards me or any humans, and never really been around dogs. Her and her brother Binx do some play fighting, but it's all love at the end of the day. She's spayed and has all of her claws. I'd prefer if she stays with her brother Binx, they've kept each other company their whole lives. Feel free to reach out for any questions!

Hi my name is Rose. I've gone from being a scaredy-cat hiding under beds to demanding rubs and lap sits. I just wish I didn't have to share my owners attention with their other 2 kitties. They're also both a year old and like to play way too much for me. I need a calm relaxing home with no fast movements, lots of scratch posts, and a nice warm sunny window to bath under. If you must know I do have certain quirks: -needs to scratch and loves mouse toys -will flinch from quick movements due to past trauma -gives love bites and paw taps to demand your attention once she picks you as hers -will hide away until she trusts you (it took her a week with us) but is perfectly fine taking care of herself. -is pretty vocal when she wants something but has a sweat raspy cigarette voice.

Sophie is shy at first but once she gets comfortable in her environment, she is active and loves to play with toys. She loves pets especially on her head and will snuggle with you all day.
