Story
We are looking to rehome a calm, independent female cat who does best in a quiet, low-stimulation environment. She is affectionate once comfortable and enjoys gentle pets, sunbathing near windows, and spending time near her people on her own terms. She is generally skittish with strangers and takes time to adjust in new environments, but is not aggressive. She has enjoyed safe outdoor access in the past but does not roam or run away.Medical/behavior notes:She has had location-specific inappropriate urination in her current home, primarily in one carpeted area near a crawl space. She did not have litter box issues in prior homes, so this appears to be environment-specific rather than a general litter box problem. No other behavioral issues noted.Ideal home:A quiet, stable home—preferably a homebody individual or couple with a calm household and patience for a shy cat adjusting to change. She can be rehomed with litter boxes and toys if helpful for transition

Story
Hi, I’m Jack I’ve just entered my senior years, and with age comes extra love and loyalty. I’m a very affectionate boy who truly bonds with my people. I’ll follow you to the bathroom (someone has to keep watch!) and sleep at the foot of your bed every night to make sure you’re safe. I’m happiest as the only cat in the home. I like having my space and attention to myself, and I do best without other male cats around. I’m incredibly clean; I even tidy up after other cats sometimes! I may not play as much as I used to, but I absolutely love being near my humans and soaking up companionship. If you’re looking for a devoted, gentle senior who will always be by your side, I might be your perfect match.

Story
Nyx is a tiny little lovebug with the biggest heart. She was born without one eye and recently had it closed up, but she has healed beautifully and is already showing everyone her sweet spirit. From day one, Nyx has been incredibly friendly, affectionate, and trusting. She absolutely loves being close to her people. She’ll happily sit in your lap while you get ready in the morning, supervise your eye makeup, and snuggle into her nighttime spot on your chest.Nyx is currently a little skinny, but don’t let that fool you... this girl loves her food. When she’s hungry, she’ll let you know with the most adorable, squeaky little beggar meows. Her favorite meal is dry food mixed with a bit of wet food (no flavor preference), though she’s not too picky and will still enjoy her crunchies. She gets along well with other cats, but she definitely has her own strong little personality. During her first couple of weeks of recovery, she kept things lowkey, but now that she’s fully healed, her playful curiosity is back in full force. She loves exploring, checking out every little spot in the house, and investigating everything around her - her favorite is the cat tree.Nyx is truly one of the most loving cats you could meet. She loves being pet, enjoys being held, and never even attempts to scratch. She is gentle, clingy in the cutest way, curious, snuggly, and full of love.

Story
Onyx is such a sweet and fun kitty. She loves to play and gets along well with everyone. If you are looking for a pet you can take outside/car rides she’s your girl. I am only rehoming her because of my schedule. I would prefer she be adopted with her sisters, since she is bonded to them and loves spending time with them.

Story
Salem was the first of two Bombay cats to find me back in 2024 when I moved into a 2nd floor apartment with a shared yard. He was scared, skittish, and clearly had been through a lot, his ear is clipped from a TNR. Winter was coming, and I couldn't stand the thought of him being out in the cold, so I worked to earn his trust and decided to build him a little cat house outside at first. Slowly, he began to trust me enough that he came inside. He loves to sit by the window and look at the birds. He truly is the sweetest Bombay cat.Salem is a soft, shy soul. He loves quiet spaces, gentle people, and sleeping! His favorite toy is an interactive toy with a bird tail. He also enjoys lots of pets and butt pats. He absolutely adores my small dog Scooby. He does good with small dogs that give him his space. He thrives and is most content in a calm quiet atmosphere. He's a very chill guy that spooks with chaos. Salem is very sweet and affectionate when he opens up to you.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Meet Zeus! This gorgeous boy is huge and is just as sweet as can be! He has super soft silky hair and loves attention. He will stand up and gently reach his paws up as high as he can (which is nearly to my waist!) while I scratch his head. He is loving and affectionate and is also wonderful with all the other cats and dogs in his foster home. He gets along great with his brother, Hades, who is a long haired black/white kitty. They are young and already quite large! He is a chill cat who is either lounging around or seeking out pets!  This cat is neutered, microchipped, up to date on distemper and rabies vaccinations, dewormings, tested negative for FIV/Felv, is on flea/tick preventative and ear mite preventative. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out a 'Cat Adoption Application'   at   www.DelawarePetRescue.org/forms       Adoption fee is: $300 Can’t adopt? Consider donating!
