Story
Oscar needs a good home. He lives with me along with his sister (Gracie, which I would like him to be adopted with), his Mom and Dad, and his Auntie Li’lbitz (my other four cats). I would like him to go to a good home because I feel like my attention is spread too thin amongst the five of them and I work 5-6 days a week. I live in a small apartment and it’s also a bit too cramped with five cats. I love him dearly. I’ve raised him very well, feeding him the best raw chicken and rabbit and giving him all the love I can muster. He’s the sweetest boy. Not a mean bone in his body. He is a bit on the shy side, but if you take your time with him he will love and trust you. He lets me hold him like a baby and rub his nose. He also likes when I dance with him when I have the music playing. He’s a big, long boy with a long tail. He loves to eat too! He likes to go outside sometimes (supervised) and climb the trees. He never leaves the yard and always comes in the house when I tell him to.

Story
Evie will be shy at first but once she trusts you she will be your best friend and snuggle you any chance she gets. I would prefer her to be an only pet where she can thrive. She would also do ok with 1 other girl cat. She currently has other cats and a dog that she does not get along with anymore. She is 4 years old and is chipped and spayed. We rescued her as a kitten from the arl. She really is a sweetheart and it breaks my heart but she is no longer happy here. I just want her to have a loving home where she can be happy.

Story
Meet handsome Wilmer! He's a striking tabby with a full, round face and gorgeous green eyes. Wilmer has a remarkable story and we consider him extremely lucky. Wilmer showed up on a volunteer's deck in early January. He was friendly and looking for food. Realizing Wilmer was not like the unsociable farm cats in the neighborhood, he was taken inside. Shortly after Wilmer's rescue, his foster parents removed two steel BBs lodged barely under his skin. Upon closer examination, more BBs were discovered and he was seen by our vets. X-rays revealed Wilmer had been shot 5 times and while one BB was easily removed under surgery, the others are located in deep muscle tissue making them risky to remove. While Wilmer is extremely outgoing, friendly and playful, he carries the trauma of being mistreated. Because of this, he needs an experienced family or person. Wilmer is exceptionally curious and wants to investigate anything new. He is extremely playful and loves any interactive toy, but can entertain himself for hours. Wilmer loves chin rubs and doesn't mind being picked up. Wilmer does not get along well with the other cats in his foster home and given his background, we are recommending he be the only cat in a home. We think he might be tolerant of an easy going dog, but he has a tendency to be aggressive towards other cats. We also don't recommend him for a family with young children or a couple intending to include him in a future family. Wilmer is a special dude, but he is going to be a work in progress because he was injured by people early in his life. Wilmer is about 1 year old, neutered, up to date with yearly vaccinations and negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV. For more information about Wilmer, please email Lori at apcatrescue@gmail.com

Story
She does not do well with other cats, she would do best in a single cat home. She does very well with children, she is free to a good home, I can clean out and send her litter box with. She gets territorial when there are other cats around.

Story
I’ve had Eve since she could fit on the palm of my hand. I’m assuming she is about 5 because I found her in September 2018. She is a CHONK lol but the sweetest thing. She absolutely loves my 8 year old daughter, Eve definitely chose her from day 1. She is house trained and friendly to other cats and dogs but still shy and timid. Best way to describe Eve is a couch potato lol loves to be lazy but will still get up and chase a laser light around for a little.

Story
Bella is a sweet beautiful indoor tortie (very minimal tortie-tude). She is NOT declawed. She will probably be afraid for a week or so at first but will warm up and come around for pets or sleep with you. She lives with her feline brother Guppy who I would love to home them together but not a requirement.
