Blue is now 6yrs old, and loves spending most of her time outside but does enjoy indoor naps. She’s ok with dogs & other cats but would mind being the center of attention. She’s very independent & likes to roam around.

Meet Salem 🖤🐾🐈‍⬛ – Looking for a Furever Home This handsome guy showed up at my house one day, wandering the neighborhood like a little mystery. From what I’ve gathered, it seems he may have been left behind by a family that used to live nearby. For months, I searched online and around the neighborhood but found no signs or posts that he had an owner looking for him. To be sure, I even placed an Apple tag on him for a couple weeks to track his routine—turns out he was walking miles every day and never stayed in one spot for long. Since then, I’ve had him fixed and fully vaccinated, and now I’m hoping to find him the loving home he deserves. 💛 Rehoming fee: FREE — I just want him to go to someone who will care for him. 🐶 Great with dogs – he’s been totally fine around mine! 🐱 Unsure about other cats. 🎁 I’ll send him off with all his food, toys, and litter box – everything you need to get started. Hi, meet Zuko. He is a great, fun-loving kitten, and he loves to give hugs. He loves to play with big dogs. Our Great Pyrenees is his good friend. We adopted Zuko in early Jan 2025, and ever since we had him, our older 9-year-old Ragdoll cat has refused to accept him as part of the family. Our dog took to him right away, but Fae, our older cat, would not accept him and got stressed and had to go to pet emergency a couple of times for refusing to eat. The slow introductions did not work, and our vet suggested putting Zuko up for adoption to go to a loving home; otherwise, our older cat might get too stressed. And since he is a kitten, he will have a much better chance. So Zuko is active and has two speeds...fast and sleeping :) . He loves to play with our dog, and they run around chasing and playing with each other. He loves his little laser light and his spinny ball toys. He is always active. In the morning he likes to give hugs and is always fascinated by the fridge.

Gentle, Resilient, Sweetheart Neighbor Tommy is on the mend from a shoulder injury he suffered while living outside. Our vets took a look and decided the best thing for this boy would be to rest up and heal. So that’s exactly what he’ll do! While Tommy is taking it easy he’s receiving lots of love, and loving every minute of it. The moment you offer a few gentle pets, he lights up with a steady purr and leans in to get closer to you. He gets up and moves around when he feels like it, but for now, he's mainly resting, and soaking up love. In a few weeks our vets will take another look at him to assess his care. Once he’s all healed up, he may have a bit of a swagger in his step, but he’s expected to feel great and enjoy life like any other cat—zoomies, sunbathing, and all. Tommy is on the mend and ready for a future full of love. Come meet this little guy! All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.

Story
Thelonious is a sweet, spunky cat with a big heart and a lot of personality. I got him as a friend for my dog and have spent nearly a year trying everything to help him adjust—but it’s clear he’s just not fully happy here. He deserves a home where he can truly thrive, and I think he’d do great as an indoor-outdoor cat with someone who has time to give him the love and attention he needs. He’s litter box trained, knows sit and shake, and is harness trained. He gives kisses, loves to cuddle, and has a silly side that’ll keep you laughing—though he can play a bit rough when he’s excited. He’ll come with everything he needs: automatic feeder, water fountain, XL litter box, pellet litter, toys, treats, food, harness and his favorite green glass heart bowl. He really is a great cat, he just needs the right person to bring out the best in him. ◡̈ (Also, turns out I’m a bit allergic, so it’s been a tough situation all around.)

It breaks my heart to rehome my beloved cat, Chai. He is a 4-year-old tabby boy with a playful and loving personality. He’s full of energy, always on the hunt for bottle caps to chase, but he also adores cuddling and being close to his humans. Chai does have some special care needs. He recently had PU surgery due to urinary issues, but he has fully recovered and is doing great. He is also on a prescribed UTI-care dry food to help prevent future issues, and we will provide a two-month supply to help with the transition. Additionally, he has a habit of eating hairbands, so they need to be kept out of reach—he once required stomach surgery to remove them. We are looking for a home where Chai will be loved, cared for, and kept safe. If you or someone you know can provide him with a wonderful forever home, please reach out. 💙

We adopted Meep 8 years ago from AHS. He would thrive in a child free, single pet household (or potentially with a quiet dog) as an indoor cat. We need to rehome him due to him and our older cat not getting along anymore. Meep is a VERY sweet boy who loves cuddles but also values his independence. He has the cutest little meow, hence his name! It will warm your heart. He LOVES being brushed, playtime, laying in the sun spots on the carpet, and laying in your lap while you work or game. He loves sleeping with you at night once he is comfortable. He is a little bit of an anxious boy and needs someone who will comfort him when he gets nervous. He is currently taking 1/3 capsule of Fluoxetine in his breakfast. This medication helps calm him. His veterinarian said that once he is with his new family, he can be weaned off of it.
