Bombay kittens & cats in Warrenton, Virginia

Horton is a large pitch black Bombay male who was a stray wandering around with a bone in his digestion tract but is all better now! He is a sweet boy & enjoys jumping up to sit beside you or come on your lap or playing with his favorite feather teaser. His tongue is usually out - he only has 2 teeth in the front and 4 teeth in the back! He would do best in a quiet home with other mature folks such as himself. He's a unique bundle of love!  We want to make adopting easy for you! Then we like to do a brief video chat (FaceTime if you have it) so you can show us your new pet’s home - where they’ll sleep, eat, and play. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) We’re a strictly no-kill shelter just for cats. We’re cage-free, donation-based, and volunteer-powered. We’re small but special and we’re glad you found us! Wisdom is a beautiful female black kitten with big bright green eyes. She is the most playful little girl and incredibly cuddly! She is the best of both worlds, she loves all toys and no matter what she is always purring, like a little engine! She would do well with other cats in her home as well. Black Velvet lives with her sister Skittle, and they are both solid black, but 'Velvet' has an old scar on her head. Rescued near Manassas, she and her sister are learning to trust humans in a safe place, and she is beginning to make progress. You can pet her and she is food motivated so that helps in her trust department. She would be a project cat that you will most certainly be able to make progress when she gets to her forever home.

Meet Onyx — a total sweetheart with a heart full of love and impeccable manners. This cuddly companion will melt into your home and your heart, settling in like he’s always been part of the family. Loki is shy but curious, likes routine, and needs help socializing. He enjoys company of other cats and is motivated with cat treats. He likes to stay near his mom and cuddles with another familiar cat, Mimi.

Natalie is a survivor that has adapted to her situation quite well. She loves to be petted and groomed, but has a paralyzed tongue so is messy eating her food and grooming herself. She needs daily grooming to help her keep clean and slick. She comes when she is called for her grooming time.

Princess Peach is a sweet and petite cat and loves to be around us. She is good with kids, dogs and other cats, but probably would benefit from being by herself for her owners. She loves to cuddle on the couch. She is litterbox trained and up to date on shots. Sweet little personality and loves to talk. Has only been an inside cat. She was born in July 2023.

Stitch is great cat that looks like he is not happy most of the time, but is the most down to earth sweet, loveable cat to his humans. Would recommend he not be placed with a female cat but fine with our male cats and our dogs. Good with our kids, too. He would be a great single cat - someone to give him all the attention. He is up to date on his vaccines and litterbox trained. Has only been an inside cat.

Tux is a cat busting with personality. He and our other cat Meeko (trying to rehome as well) would love for them to go together if possible as they are bonded for sure. He is up to date on his shots and is litterbox trained. Loves to play and be around you. Sweet, big and loveable and good with other cats and dogs as well as our kids. Has only been an inside cat. He was born in July 2023.
