Meet Gucci, the elegant and reserved lady with a heart of gold and a flair for the dramatic! Gucci is a sophisticated feline who thrives with a bit of space and the companionship of another playful kitten. She’s a true connoisseur of fine living and takes her time to get to know new humans, preferring to observe from a distance before gracing you with her trust. Gucci may be a bit shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she’ll reveal her charming personality and gentle purrs. She enjoys lounging in cozy nooks, playing with feather toys, and watching the world go by from her favorite perch. Her ideal home includes a buddy kitten to share in her adventures and to help her feel more at ease. If you’re patient and ready to offer Gucci the space she needs to bloom, you’ll be rewarded with a loyal and loving companion. Story
Meet Saffron, a beautiful and resilient kitty who's ready to find her forever home! Once a brave mama cat, Saffron was found as a pregnant stray, and though she loves the safety and comfort of indoor living, she still enjoys a bit of outdoor adventure. A perfect day for Saffron involves basking in a sunny window or exploring a safe backyard before curling up on a cozy bed for a nap. Saffron loves being the center of attention and prefers to be the one and only cat in her home—after all, every queen deserves her own castle! If you're looking for a loyal, independent, and loving companion who enjoys a mix of indoor comfort and outdoor fun, Saffron might just be the purr-fect match. ?

Story
Donna is gorgeous and she loves a good conversation! She makes great eye contact, and listens carefully. She wants to please, and she's not a cat to ignore you or pretend she doesn't care. She cares! Donna will bond with you and see you as her protector and friend. She enjoys being petted and given attention.  She was assaulted by a cat years ago and is still wary. She has a private room here and we would like her to be an only cat or to have lots of space and her own eating area.  Donna was born in 2014 but doesn't look her age!  We want to make adopting easy for you! Here’s our application:   https://rappcats.org/adoptions/ Once you complete it, we’re on it! We’ll call your vet (or personal reference) the next business day. Then we like to do a brief video chat (FaceTime if you have it) so you can show us your new pet’s home - where they’ll sleep, eat, and play. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) We’re a strictly no-kill shelter just for cats. We’re cage-free, donation-based, and volunteer-powered. We’re small but special and we’re glad you found us! For more info don’t hesitate to call or text us at 540-987-6050 or email us at adopt@rappcats.org.      December 15, 2024, 10:01 pm

Story
IF YOU ARE VIEWING THIS LISTING ON PETFINDER OR ADOPT-A-PET, please visit: Caninesandkittiesrescue.org to access adoption requirements, more information and pictures. Meet Clover's Lucky Charms litter! These kittens are tiny babies who were born on 3/26/25. Born in a foster home, they are socialized and sweet! They are fostered with other kitties and have been handheld since birth. Kittens MUST be adopted in pairs OR be adopted to a home with another young kitty. They are too tiny and young to live alone as an only cat. This litter will be eligible to be adopted at 8 weeks of age, on or after May 21, 2025. This litter is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, had a full examination by a veterinarian, Combo tested Negative, microchipped and will need to be spayed/neutered by the adopter at 6 months of age. The adoption fee for this kitten is $150, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. A pair of kittens is $275.00 This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the kitten is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 fee will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will provide information on this process during the approval process. ***Please note that the first step in the process is to complete our nonbinding application (it does not commit you in any way but allows us to help you to find a great match). Our application review process also includes a veterinary reference check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives (if applicable) and examined annually by your vet.*** **You must be at least 25 years old to adopt an animal from Canines & Kitties Rescue.** Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal. Cats adopted through Canines & Kitties Rescue must be indoor only and may not be declawed (unless already declawed at the time of rescue). *If you're viewing this on Petfinder, please visit www.caninesandkittiesrescue.org to complete our non-binding application. *
