Story
We adopted Bentley from the Prince William County Animal Shelter in 2022. My wife contracted COVID last year, as a result developed a significant alergy to cats, after a year of medical treatments, sadly we have to put Bentley up for adoption. He is a 4 year old grey domestic shorthair, up to date on all vaccinations, he is neutered and declawed on his front claws, he is a fully indoor cat. We have a female senior cat that he gets along very well. Bentley is a very active young cat with a sweet temperment. He loves to run and play with our senior cat. He's been on a standard dry food diet his whole life and enjoyes wet food as a treat from time to time. He has anxiety around large groups of people but eventually adapts. We can't keep him much longer, will salter him if we can't find a home by the fall. We want to find him a loving home in NOVA if possible.

Story
Hector is a gentle grey tabby shorthair rescued from harsh winter temperatures three years ago. He survived six months outdoors with other cats, which made him cautious at first, but incredibly appreciative of safety and kindness. Now about three years old, Hector is a big, quiet chunk of love who prefers to hide until he feels ready to say hello—then he offers sweet kisses and calm affection. He has lived comfortably with both big and small dogs and other cats, always taking the submissive, peaceful role. Hector is easy to please: a meal, a cozy bed, and patience are all he needs to thrive. He’s looking for a home that understands his past and will give him the gentle environment he deserves. This young guy will be a loving, quiet companion who blossoms with time and trust. Our oldest cat is experiencing too much stress so we unfortunately have to let this fur baby go. Please help him find a great home. We will be sad to see him go

Story
Garfield came to us over two years ago after experiencing severe stress that left him with no fur on his tail and chewed nails. With time, care, and plenty of snacks, he transformed into the confident, talkative, food‑motivated sweetheart he is today. Garfield earned his name by always wanting to try whatever food he can — and he’ll happily remind you of that with his adorable meows. He grew up with big and small dogs and lived with other cats, navigating disagreements like a pro and loving to play with other animals. Garfield is active, social, and loves being near his people for scratches, affection, and snack requests. Don’t let his past fool you — he’s resilient, loving, and ready for a home that enjoys a lively, vocal companion with a big personality. Garfield will bring joy, humor, and endless charm to the right family. Our oldest cat is experiencing too much stress so we unfortunately have to let this fur baby go. Story
May May does not get along with other cats and would be better off as the only pet in the home. She is somewhere between 6 and 7 years old and very affectionate, but only on her terms. She does not like being carried or held, or having her nails trimmed. She is overweight (work in progress), and needs some dental work, but otherwise healthy.
