Story
Harold is a friendly, loving, handsome boy! He really enjoys your attention & purrs to let you know. He has the cutest little meow. Harold is used to being around other cats, as he came to us along with other cats from his household. He'll be happy & grateful to be back in a home!  We want to make adopting easy for you! Here’s our application:   https://rappcats.org/adoptions/ Once you complete it, we’re on it! We’ll call your vet (or personal reference) the next business day. Then we like to do a brief video chat (FaceTime if you have it) so you can show us your new pet’s home - where they’ll sleep, eat, and play. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) We’re a strictly no-kill shelter just for cats. We’re cage-free, donation-based, and volunteer-powered. We’re small but special and we’re glad you found us! For more info don’t hesitate to call or text us at 540-987-6050 or email us at adopt@rappcats.org. May 2, 2024, 11:03 am

Story
Cupcake-Bombay/Bob Tail X female, ~ 2-3 yr (March 2024) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Cupcake was taken in by a cat loving lady in a small rural town. She is so sweet and knows humans are her friends and help, she came right up to the caretaker for help. Probably abandoned and just needing a place for food & safety so came forward looking for a friend. Since being in her foster home, she's made great friends with the other cats, dogs and even the 3 yr. old neighbor boy. She's known the love of family life and is looking forward to that again. Her foster Mom said she's always close by and very loving. She bonds very well. Cupcake's adoption fee is $150 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption. For our application, please email rescuebc@hotmail.com Include your location and a phone number for future communication. The first step in our process is to submit an application for review. Once approved, we will contact you to arrange a meeting at our next Meet and Greet event. Our pets are fostered in private homes and will be brought to Frederick, MD to meet approved adopters.
