Story
We adopted Rosalind in November from a foster home. She is about a year old now. She is very independent but playful and responsive to toys. She is good with other cats. Unfortunately a member of our household is experiencing allergy problems with her, hence the need to re-home her. We are hoping she can find a loving home.

Story
Donna is gorgeous and she loves a good conversation! She makes great eye contact, and listens carefully. She wants to please, and she's not a cat to ignore you or pretend she doesn't care. She cares! Donna will bond with you and see you as her protector and friend. She enjoys being petted and given attention.  She was assaulted by a cat years ago and is still wary. She has a private room here and we would like her to be an only cat or to have lots of space and her own eating area.  We want to make adopting easy for you! Here’s our application:   https://rappcats.org/adoptions/ Once you complete it, we’re on it! We’ll call your vet (or personal reference) the next business day. Then we like to do a brief video chat (FaceTime if you have it) so you can show us your new pet’s home - where they’ll sleep, eat, and play. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) We’re a strictly no-kill shelter just for cats. We’re cage-free, donation-based, and volunteer-powered. We’re small but special and we’re glad you found us! For more info don’t hesitate to call or text us at 540-987-6050 or email us at adopt@rappcats.org.      April 25, 2024, 2:52 pm

Story
Breenie is the absolute best kitty. In her old age (about 13 years) she has developed a food allergy and kidney disease. She is currently on special food Due to the allergy and kidney issues, she vomits a few times a week but this has significantly reduced since only allowing her to eat the specialized food. Unfortunately, without being able to control the vomiting, it is not sustainable to keep her with a toddler and an infant. She is so sweet and I have a dog and another cat and she is great to them as well as my small kids.

Cayden has a really sad story. He was found by a young man named Cayden in a garbage can someone had thrown him out for trash. We opened our Rescue up to this little baby! Won’t you open your home up to this little boy and give him the greatest life possible? He so deserves a home. He is so so sweet, so appreciative that someone came and saved him. Cayden will be so thrilled when he gets his forever loving home By the time we come up on transport, he will have been neutered and all of his shots and rabies vaccination and also combo tested. Please complete our application so we can call you and give you more information on him. strayhearts7@outlook.com https://forms.gle/suhbpui9RXiVmvoJ9
