Alfred is approaching 6 months old, and somehow this handsome little guy is still waiting for his forever family to find him. Born March 26, 2026, Alfred has been with the same foster since the day he was born, so they've had the pleasure of watching this tiny all-black baby grow into the playful, curious, affectionate kitten he is today. Alfred is an altered male Bombay mix with a sleek, all-black coat and a personality that keeps his foster home entertained. He was originally part of the Royal litter of 4, and two of his siblings have already found their forever homes. Now Alfred and his brother, King Louie, are the two remaining little royals waiting for their turn! And Alfred is certainly making the most of the wait. He'll chase, pounce, explore, investigate, and find ways to entertain himself with all the enthusiasm you'd expect from a kitten his age. He's curious about his surroundings and likes knowing what's happening around him. Give him something interesting to investigate, and Alfred is on the case. He's also grown up with plenty of socialization. Alfred has been socialized with both cats and dogs in his foster home and has had feline companionship his entire life. He'd be a wonderful option for a home looking to add a playful young cat, especially with thoughtful introductions to any new furry family members. Underneath all of that kitten energy is a genuinely affectionate little guy. Alfred enjoys being around his people, soaking up attention and settling in once he's finished with whatever very important kitten business occupied his afternoon. He's a fun balance of playful, curious, social, and loving—the kind of kitten who brings plenty of entertainment to a home without forgetting to make time for his humans. Alfred is also great with his litter box, giving him an excellent foundation as he transitions from foster life into a home of his own. Glacier Viking would like you to think he is a fearsome warrior..but then he melts into your arms when you pick him up, purrs starting soon afterward. Glacier carries on the grand tradition of his black brethren – his heart is as soft as his fur. Sure he will pounce, play, and battle his brother, Fjord Viking, but when it comes down to it, his greatest goal is to have 2 hands petting on him. Glacier uses his black velvet paws to give gentle taps on your legs, rather than tooth and nail, to achieve his ends. Tap tap. Pick me up. Tap tap. Pet me. Tap tap. It is past time for second breakfast. You can’t resist those warm touches and hazel eyes gazing up at you. He gets second breakfast every time! Well, and anything else he wants. The reward is holding baby black bear (that purrs) in your arms. Worth it! Glacier is a playful guy. He will run around the house after poofy balls and cat springs. He likes to launch surprise assaults from a box or a cat tunnel. He plays with his fellow foster kittens, and then head butts the family dog before settling into a hard won nap. Glacier is consistent and has a unique litter box technique with hind in the box and front paws either on the lip of the box or on the floor in front. Hey, if it works, it works. Glacier’s ideal Viking tribe loves to put full attention into their kitty petting sessions. He doesn’t need attention all of the time, but when he is getting attention, he desires focus. They don’t mind having their bed invaded nightly. His tribe likely includes other furry siblings. Some stories begin with heartbreak, but Damita's is proof that love can change everything! At just 5 months old, this beautiful all-black kitten has already overcome more than most. Damita was found by a dedicated street feeder suffering from a severe case of ringworm. Thanks to her wonderful foster, our medical team here at the rescue that stepped in with proper medical care, patience, and lots of love, she's made an incredible recovery! Damita is now healthy, happy, and absolutely thriving in her foster home! Damita has a quiet, gentle spirit that makes her impossible not to fall in love with. She was understandably a little reserved during her content session after everything she'd been through, but her foster says that at home, she's a completely different kitten. Once she's comfortable, her playful personality shines. She's happiest chasing toy mice across the room, batting around jingling balls, and enjoying all the little adventures kittenhood has to offer. When playtime winds down, Damita transforms into the sweetest cuddle companion. She adores affection, happily soaking up pets, snuggles, and any opportunity to spend time with her favorite people. Beneath her soft black coat is an even softer heart that's just waiting for the right family to call her own. Damita has settled beautifully into her foster home's routine. She consistently uses the litter box, enjoys wet food in the morning and evening, has kibble available throughout the day, and has a healthy appetite. She gets along wonderfully with the large dog in the home and is comfortable around the resident cats as well. While there aren't young children in her foster home, she was calm and gentle when handled by a 12-year-old boy and 14-year-old girl during her content session, showing just how trusting she's becoming! Like any young kitten, Damita will continue to benefit from patience, consistency, and a loving home where she can keep building her confidence.
