Story
Alakay has been with me since he was a kitten and is now 5 years old. I adopted him during a very transitional time in my life, and he’s been a steady, comforting presence ever since. Alakay is gentle, observant, and affectionate in his own way. He enjoys calm environments, thrives on consistency, and does best with regular companionship. He’s well adjusted, litter trained, and accustomed to living indoors. As he’s grown, it’s become clear he would benefit from a home where he can receive more daily interaction and attention. He’s very expressive and enjoys communicating with his people, especially when he wants attention or has an opinion. I’m looking for a stable, loving home where Alakay can thrive, ideally with someone who values a peaceful environment and has time to engage with him regularly. This decision was made thoughtfully and with his long term well being in mind.

TUGS ON YOUR HEARTSTRINGS DOB 6/15/22 Meet Taco! This beautiful black kitty was found with a rumbling tummy outside a taco truck — so naturally, her name is Taco! Now safe and cozy in her foster home, Taco is living her best life and enjoying all the good things: soft blankets, chin scratches, and sunny windowsills. Taco is a gentle soul with a sweet personality. She gets along with both cats and dogs, but like any lady with standards, she may need a little time to settle into a new place. Once she does, she’ll reward you with purrs, head boops, and quiet companionship. If you're looking for a classy little foodie with a big heart, Taco might be the perfect match! HOPE ID 24-0309-G058 Taco is currently in the Houston, Texas area but can be transported to this location upon adoption. The $325 adoption fee includes transport, health certificate, spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. LIKES TO BE HELD TO YOUR CHEST WITH HER PAWS OVER YOUR SHOULDERS DOB 4/13/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Pluto, a sweet, loving, and very playful Bombay mix gal with copper-penny eyes and a sleek, shiny black-patent leather coat who can be a little shy at times. I have a little ritual every morning in that I come to Foster Meowmy for love and cuddles. Although a lot of my siblings like to be held tummy-up like a baby, I prefer for Foster Meowmy to hold me to her chest with my paws over her shoulder. And whereas my siblings seem to love being held endlessly, I start nibbling on Foster Meowmy if she holds me too long! After my feral momma birthed Karma, Jupiter, Opal, and me outside of Foster Meowmy’s house, she moved us to inside a neighbor’s car (through the open window, I might add). Then Meowmy moved us to a box on her porch, but when Momma saw some neighbors pick us up, she moved us a few doors down to a used-car business. Imagine Foster Meowmy’s surprise when she looked inside an old car and found not only us under the driver’s seat but also another litter of four kittens under the passenger’s seat!! She gathered up both of our stowaway litters and carefully placed us in boxes on her porch so that we could safely nurse. Our mommas continued to move us multiple times, and Foster Meowmy always managed to find us and put us back in our weaning boxes. Finally, when we were five weeks old and could eat on our own, Foster Meowmy brought us all inside to the safe haven of her home where she could care for all of us. She even was the perfect feline Florence Nightingale when she administered antibiotic ointment to some of our crusty eyes. Now that we’re fat and sassy, you can imagine the kitten mayhem that goes on inside our big foster bathroom! We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. We’ve all got a little mischief in our genes because we love to escape the foster bathroom, but I’m usually the mastermind who comes up with the most ingenious way to escape our foster bathroom and lead my siblings behind me. And once I am loose in the house, I’m very good at hiding so Foster Meowmy can’t return me to the bathroom. I love Foster Meowmy and am so grateful that she gave me a chance at the fabulous indoor life of a pampered pet. Now I’m ready to bring my loving, cuddly demeanor to my forever family. Arrange to meet me today, and Foster Meowmy will show you how I like to be held to her chest so I can look over her shoulder. If you’re looking for a pair of kittens, please consider adopting me with one of the other seven #car-stowaways. We think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together so we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. HOPE ID 25-0614-A048 Pluto is currently in the Houston, Texas area but can be transported to this location upon adoption. VELCRO KITTY WHO LOVES TO CUDDLE DOB 4/1/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Onyx, a sweet, loving, and very playful Bombay mix fella with copper-penny eyes and a sleek, shiny black-patent leather coat. Bombays are often called Velcro cats because we like to stick so close to our hoomans, and I am always delighted to spend time cuddling with Foster Meowmy any chance I can grab. You see, I have to share her time and attention with my three littermates as well as another litter of four kittens. Here’s the story: My feral momma birthed Obsidian, Jasper, Topaz, and me underneath the seat of an old car parked in a used-car business . Foster Meowmy’s finding us when we were only about three weeks old might never have happened if she hadn’t been trying to rescue the other set of kittens whom another feral momma had birthed outside of Foster Meowmy’s house. The other momma had moved her litter from Meowmy’s yard to inside her neighbor’s car (through the open window, I might add) and ultimately a few doors down to the used-car business. Imagine Meowmy’s surprise when she found not only the kittens she’d been tracking under the driver’s seat but also my litter under the passenger’s seat!! She gathered up both of our "stowaway" litters and carefully placed us in boxes on her porch so that we could safely nurse. Our mommas continued to move us multiple times, and Foster Meowmy always managed to find us and put us back in our weaning boxes. Finally, when we were seven weeks old and could eat on our own, Foster Meowmy brought us all inside to the safe haven of her home where she could care for all of us. She even was the perfect feline Florence Nightingale when she administered antibiotic ointment to some of our crusty eyes. Now that we’re fat and sassy, you can imagine the kitten mayhem that goes on inside our big foster bathroom! All eight of us tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. I love to sleep in the bathroom sink because it’s my favorite “bed” when I need a little “time out” from the kitten frenzy. We’ve all got a little mischief in our genes because we love to escape the foster bathroom so we can play with the resident two-year-old cat and explore Foster Meowmy's bedroom. I love Foster Meowmy and am so grateful that she gave me a chance at the fabulous indoor life of a pampered pet. Now I’m ready to bring my stunning good looks and affectionate cuddling to my forever family. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today, and if you’re looking for a pair of kittens, please consider adopting me with one of the other seven #car-stowaways. We think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together so we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. HOPE ID 25-0614-A041 Onyx is currently in the Houston, Texas area but can be transported to this location upon adoption. Story
Grisha was a stray we took in a couple of years ago, we got all her shots and had her spayed. She suffers from Feline Chronic Gingivostomatitis which can be treated by removing the affected teeth, but we cannot afford the procedure ourselves. She will eat wet food. She is very sweet and loves being pet, but is very shy which may be the result of prior abuse. She would thrive in a home that can provide a secure space for her, with an easily accessible litter box and food dish because she can have difficulty finding these in a larger area (we believe she may have dementia). We would love for her to go to a caring home for the remaining years of her life. We believe she is a senior, but aren't sure of her age, so she may yet live many years with proper care. Her best feature is her eyes, they are magical.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.I'm Mocha Joe, expert participant of kitten shenanigans. My super-patient foster mom says I'm turning into a bold, curious and loyally affectionate kitten. That’s quite a transformation from the scared little guy I once was! Now I love the house cats and even the grumpy dog. I would do best in a house with at least one other cat buddy.  I'm four- five months old and a litterbox hero. Indoor only.
