Please note that PAHS does NOT do online adoption applications.  You must come to the shelter in person to meet the PAHS pets.Marshall is a 4-month-old male Border Collie/English Shepherd mix.  He is an owner turn in because his owner could no longer take care of him.  This is a very handsome dog whose black and white coat remind us of a Border Collie; his size indicate he will be a very large adult dog.  Marshall has a beautiful face and we love is ears!  His owner shared he is already house trained.  Marshall is friendly, playful, and would be good with other dogs and children.  He is just a big puppy--a REALLY big puppy.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75.  All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.  *****Please note that PAHS does NOT do online adoption applications.  You must come to the shelter in person to meet the PAHS pets.*****June 1, 2026, 5:13 pm

Story
Pete is a good boy that is looking for a new home. His “mom” and “dad” were having some big health issues that required special treatment and “down” time to recover. Pete will miss his “mom” and “dad”, but he knows they need to focus on their health. All of that to say that Pete is ready to find a new family to love! He has all of his vaccinations, he is heartworm negative, he has a microchip, and he has been neutered. Pete is almost a year old and he weighs a little over 70 pounds! Would you like to add this friendly guy to your “pack?”

Story
Animal Control got a call one morning from a kind homeowner, who had a puppy in his yard. He had noticed the dog for a day or two and was able to “contain” the pup in his yard and then call AC. At the shelter his name is Boom! He is still a young puppy that will need lots of love, patience, and definitely some training in doggie manners. He has all of his age-appropriate vaccinations, he has a microchip, and he has been neutered. We think he is a cattle dog mix so he should be a nice medium size boy when he reaches his adult size.

Story
Rocket is a 54 lb Australian Shepherd looking for a loving forever home. He is high-energy, very intelligent, and extremely trainable. Rocket would thrive with an active family that has a yard and children who can give him the time, attention, and play he deserves. He is fully vaccinated and neutered.I am rehoming Rocket because I currently live in an apartment and work long hours, and I cannot provide the space, activity, and affection that matches his energy level and needs. I want to find him a stable, loving home where he can truly thrive.
