Below is info about our pet & adoption cost/detail information below that – please read all. PET DESCRIPTION: Zelda is a one-year-old female maybe Border Collier/Terrier mix, about 35 lbs.  She was found as a stray and brought to us.  Good with dogs and cats, does well in a crate.  Very playful and happy girl! DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more.  (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter). Story
When we received a plea for help for Sky (and his brother Petey), we couldn't say no. His owner had started treatment for a brain tumor and was no longer physically able to care for them. Both boys were rescued several years ago and were loved fiercely; we are happy to be their safe haven until the right adopters come along. Sky is a 7-year-old male border collie mix weighing in at ~80 lbs. He knows basic commands, loves the outdoors, and is sweet as can be. He aims to please and thrives on the farm. He is just as smart as he is handsome. One of Sky's back legs is shorter than the others (possibly due to an injury he suffered as a puppy), but we think that just gives him character. We have updated his vetting and he is now neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Sky and Petey are not bonded and can (happily) be adopted separately.

In october, her mom showed up at my brothers house as a stray and immediately gave birth to her and her 4 sisters. She unfortunately got out of their fence and was hit by a car 2 weeks later. In order to help my brother with his stress levels, I offered to take one and help bottle feed her and get her set up to be adopted! I love her to death but she is extremely hyper and needs a lot of attention. With my work schedule and travel plans, I am not in the space to give her the energy she needs. Border Collies are working dogs and need a lot of attention! She is extremely trainable but I do not have the time or money to go get her trained properly. She knows basic commands and is very treat driven, but only when she’s in the mood haha! I have not seen her with kids or other dogs but because of her energy levels, it might take some time for her to learn how to behave! She is pretty nippy, as with any puppy this age. Her last round of shots is March 6th. We are urgently looking
