She and her sister, Sapphire, were found beside a busy highway in Austin, TX, and after searching for their owners with no luck, they’ve been in foster care. We already have four pets and cannot take on more permanently, so Ruby is looking for her own loving home.Ruby is:• Up to date on all shots and spayed• House trained and fence-friendly• Friendly with other dogs and cats• High energy but loves her napsShe is heart-meltingly cute and gets along well with other dogs at the park. Sapphire and her sister (Ruby) were found beside a busy highway in Austin TX in May '26, with no collars, nor microchipped. THEY ARE A BONDED PAIR AND MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER. They are about 10 months old. . Efforts were made to find their owners, to no avail. They have been fostered initially in Austin, TX, then in Northwest Arkansas. We have 2 dogs plus 2 cats, and therefore cannot take on any more pets permanently. These dogs have now been spayed, plus given all their shots. They are walked daily on a split leash, and get along with other dogs well. They interact in a friendly manner with other dogs at dog parks. They are fence friendly without escape attempts. They are still growing up and have the usual puppy behavior like chewing things, but not bad. Overall they are very friendly, heart-meltingly cute, with lots of energy but love their naps. Ideally, we would like to have them adopted together, into a loving household, with a fenced yard.

I'm having issues with my landlord about my dog. I was told, I had to rehome her or be evicted, do to her size amongst other issues. I'm at a loss of what to do.. 😔 She's (Shelly Belly) 1yr old, an a Australian kelpie, Labrador mix, about 35.lbs, 3ft long, and about 16' tall. She's sweet loving, loves walks and running, she is semi potty trained. She would be much happier with more room, and more people, it's just me, her, and my dad, in a one bedroom. She loves me, but you can see she's bored a lot. I don't get around as much anymore as I did. She loves car riding to btw..She doesn't ask to go out yet, but if you keep on it with her, she's getting it. Although over night I am still using puppy pads. She's beyond sweet, (EXTREMELY SMART, and ATTENTIVE) a bit hyper sometimes, loves walks and outdoors. She can be a bit spoiled, especially when she gets attached. She's a great friend, and loves to hug, and do paw, set, and high fives. She loves the farm atmosphere, horses, sheep, especially cows.I don't want too have to take her to the pound, if I don't have to. She needs lots of run, and fun. She know how to give paw, shake, and set... She is very attached to people, probably to much. Has separation anxiety...(479)519-2209
