He enjoys having a routine, going for walks, and spending time near his people—whether that’s quietly keeping watch or soaking up gentle affection. He doesn’t need constant activity, but he does appreciate mental stimulation and purposeful movement that lets him feel useful and engaged. Jackson does well with other dogs, especially his brother, and would do best with someone who understands older dogs and values the steady companionship they bring. He’s the kind of dog who forms deep bonds and stays close once he knows he belongs. After losing the only family he’s ever known, Jackson is hoping for a second chance—one filled with patience, kindness, and love.
