She and her sister, Sapphire, were found beside a busy highway in Austin, TX, and after searching for their owners with no luck, they’ve been in foster care. We already have four pets and cannot take on more permanently, so Ruby is looking for her own loving home.Ruby is:• Up to date on all shots and spayed• House trained and fence-friendly• Friendly with other dogs and cats• High energy but loves her napsShe is heart-meltingly cute and gets along well with other dogs at the park. Ideally, we would love to have her adopted together with her sister into a home with a fenced yard.💰 Rehoming fee: $50Includes: Proof of spay and vaccinations

Sapphire and her sister (Ruby) were found beside a busy highway in Austin TX in May '26, with no collars, nor microchipped. THEY ARE A BONDED PAIR AND MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER. They are about 10 months old. . Efforts were made to find their owners, to no avail. They have been fostered initially in Austin, TX, then in Northwest Arkansas. We have 2 dogs plus 2 cats, and therefore cannot take on any more pets permanently. These dogs have now been spayed, plus given all their shots. They are walked daily on a split leash, and get along with other dogs well. They interact in a friendly manner with other dogs at dog parks. They are fence friendly without escape attempts. They are still growing up and have the usual puppy behavior like chewing things, but not bad. Overall they are very friendly, heart-meltingly cute, with lots of energy but love their naps. Ideally, we would like to have them adopted together, into a loving household, with a fenced yard.

House trained with both pad and will tell you if she needs outside but she has gotten used to my mother leaving the back door open 24/7 so will need to re-establish training to tell that she needs to go. Was abused as puppy by previous owners and so she pees when excited or scared and we've never been able to fix that. Great with other animals after some adjustment time including cats but she does tend to be very playful with them.
