Since not all of our pets come into the store each day, adoption meet-and-greets are scheduled by appointment. Meet Firefly!  Firefly is a gorgeous, high-energy girl who is approximately one year and four months old and weighs around 32–35 pounds. She is half Husky, half Border Collie—and yes, those piercing blue eyes are completely real! This water-loving girl believes every container is a potential swimming pool. A trough? She’s getting in. A plastic kiddie pool? Absolutely. Her water dish inside the house? Well…she may at least consider it.  Firefly does well with other dogs and would probably be happiest with a playful canine companion around her size or larger. She has plenty of energy and will need an active family committed to giving her exercise, training, and a job to keep that clever Husky/Border Collie brain busy. She is still learning her manners and currently likes to pull on the leash, but we’re working with her! With continued training, structure, and plenty of adventures, Firefly has the potential to be an incredible companion. If you’re looking for a beautiful, energetic best friend who is always ready to make a splash, Firefly may be your girl!  Spayed/Neuiterd, micro chipped, heartworm negative (if of age), dhpp shots, kennel cough vacs., and one year rabies is completed.  Adoption fee is $100  We are NOT a first-come-first to adopt a rescue, the best fit for the family and dog is the way we do things.  We do out of town adoptions often, but will not ship animals must come to Redding for pick up.   ##2533836##
