Story
Hope is an affectionate Australian cattledog /German short-haired pointer mix. She has been recovering from a concussion she received from a vehicle accident. She is slightly challenged when walking, however she can still run full speed for short distances. Her optimal life would include continued training, shorter walks in cooler weather, playing food and toy games for enrichment, and living indoors with her favorite person or family. She is currently fostered in a quiet home with 2 cats and no other dogs. She is potty trained and crate trained. She may prefer to be the only dog due to her loyalty to people. She will need calm guidance in new environments. She is lower energy and quiet in the morning, but will need small sessions of activity and engagement throughout the day due to her "working-breed" temperament. She would be a great fit for someone who would continue to help her learn new things and enrich her life through new experiences. She always wants to be by your side and will need a trusted loving leader for companionship and guidance. We do not see Adopt-a-Pet inquiries! Story
Grozer is a goofy bouncy boy! He's always happy, but he definitely needs a family who is willing to work with him on when its time to play and when it's time to rest. He would be a GREAT pup for an active family who likes to get into the mountains or on bikes. We suggest older or no kids, only because he will probably knock them over with his goofy antics. We are happy to consider a family who will be willing to work with him on his training if the kids are younger. He will likely be a cat chaser just because he hasn't had much structure at the shelter. We have never introduced him to cats, however. Grozer a really friendly good boy and we can't wait to get him out of the shelter and into his very own home or foster home! He also loves toys and holding things in his mouth. :) Be prepared to give him a toy when he greets you and he will give you all the love in return! We do not see Adopt-a-Pet inquiries! Story
He is a 3 year old mutt that I adopted when he was 4 months old. Up to date on all his vaccines until March of 2026. I need to rehome him due to my 1 Y/O daughter constantly trying to get into his space. I’m afraid one day she might fall on him or scare him and him react a certain way. He is an amazing dog. Walks great on leash and stays close without a leash as long as theres no other dogs too close. He loves to play fetch, go on walks, go to the park, hikes, and car rides. But when its time to chill inside he loves to lay in his bed and be lazy. He’s been around goats, chickens, horses and has done just fine around them. He would strive best with someone that has NO little kids and NO other dogs. Would do good with older kids that understand to give dogs their space. Makes a great companion, and will follow his person everywhere. But doesnt mind staying home resting. Hoping to find the right person show him all the love !

Story
Koa is an extremely sweet dog. He is a big cuddler and he loves playing with toys and chewing on bones/sticks. He gets along great with other dogs and cats and he loves all people. He has quite a bit of energy, so he needs to go to someone who has a pretty active lifestyle and has time to exercise him daily. He has a little bit of a problem with indoor etiquette so he will need more house training. He will make an amazing companion for someone who can better suit his needs.

Story
Wade is a sweet, energetic, and loyal young pup (under a year old) with a sleek black coat, white markings, and a touch of brindle along his legs and face. He came from a California rescue and has been raised in a loving home with kids, dogs, and cats; and he does great with all of them. Wade has a big heart and lots of potential, but he needs a more experienced handler or someone with the time and patience to continue consistent training. He is incredibly smart, curious, and full of energy, but he struggles to settle and sometimes acts out when he is bored or anxious. He’ll thrive in a structured home with an active family or an individual who can give him the outlet and attention he deserves. He is crate trained, has learned fetch, and loves to play and explore. Wade will make an amazing companion for the right person-someone who understands that every great dog just needs the right match.

Kringle and Krampus were named around Christmas time when they entered the shelter. Can you tell? They are a cute aussiedoodle pair of brothers and we definitely think that they are bonded. They love being near each other and also love their people. These boys will do great in any kind of home and are dog friendly too.
