Story
He is a sweet boy with a lot of love to give. Most days he spends his time relaxing indoors. Looking for a calm environment without young children or other animals. However, he has grown up with a female border collie and would do well with a female companion. Looking for experienced Border Collie owners only. Unfortunately, we live a very busy life with 2 toddlers and don’t have time to spoil him like he deserves. He does suffer from noise anxiety specifically with thunderstorms, fireworks, and lawn mowers. He is up to date on heartworm prevention and vaccines. He’s had regular vet visits with most recent bloodwork performed June 2026. This isn’t even an easy decision to make but my hope is to find Jameson a calm and loving home where he can thrive and enjoy the rest of his life.

She is extremely smart and loves to run and play! She knows how to sit, down, leave-it, stay, spin around, paw shake and speak! She loves attention and to have her ears, head and neck rubbed. She has lot of great qualities! She is a beautiful dog and has so much love to give!!! (and definitely loves getting it!)Now for the reason for rehoming:Not good with small children. she will be reactive and can act aggressive towards them. She loves to go for walks. She will react to other dogs/cats while on leash, but plays well with dogs off leash. Maple is a beautiful girl who needs a new home where she can thrive. She loves to play, loves the frisbee and tennis balls, and would swim in the ocean everyday if she could. We are looking to find her a new home with a family without other dogs or young children because both make her nervous. She does not get along with our senior boy dog and after we had a baby, her anxiety and nervousness grew. Since the child has become more mobile, she is even more agitated and unhappy. She would do best with a running or walking partner who loves to be outside and will allow Maple to grow without fear of other dogs or kids. Maple is a very smart girl and knows her basic commands. She is house-trained and walks wonderfully on a leash. She loves to explore new trails and loves the beach. She absolutely loves people - adult, or young teen people - not little kids so much. She thrives off the energy of other people and will offer up her belly for a good rub even if you just make eye contact with her.
