Story
He is a sweet boy with a lot of love to give. Most days he spends his time relaxing indoors. Looking for a calm environment without young children or other animals. However, he has grown up with a female border collie and would do well with a female companion. Looking for experienced Border Collie owners only. Unfortunately, we live a very busy life with 2 toddlers and don’t have time to spoil him like he deserves. He does suffer from noise anxiety specifically with thunderstorms, fireworks, and lawn mowers. He is up to date on heartworm prevention and vaccines. He’s had regular vet visits with most recent bloodwork performed June 2026. This isn’t even an easy decision to make but my hope is to find Jameson a calm and loving home where he can thrive and enjoy the rest of his life.

Story
💕 Looking for the Perfect Forever Home for Sadie 💕 Years ago, we fostered Sadie from a shelter, and she quickly became part of our family. She deserves so much love, attention, and time—but with our work schedules and everything life has become, we’re simply not home enough to give her the life she deserves. This decision comes from love, not convenience. We want her to have a family where she can be spoiled, included, and enjoy the companionship she thrives on. 🐾 Sadie is looking for: • A loving, family • A home where someone is around more often • Lots of love, belly rubs, and a comfy place to nap We are committed to finding the right home—not just any home. We’d love to stay in touch if possible and make sure she’s going to people who will love her as much as we do.

Story
Finn is a fun boy with so much love to give and needs his perfect home to give it to. He is used to being around a lot of different sized dogs, he loves people, and can be cat tested upon request. He enjoys playing with any dog he is housed with and loves ALL the volunteers! We were able to save him and his sister from being euthanized at Cordele Animal Services and we would love for him to find his forever family. He is still learning his manners so a home with older kids and no fragile elderly would be best so he doesn’t accidentally knock anyone over; he doesn't have spatial awareness. He is already neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to go. Finn can be cat tested upon request. SGER FAQs:We are a 501c3 non profit rescue.Your information in our application is not shared and is protocol for adoption. Here is the application link. https://shorturl.at/syCM3All of our dogs have age-appropriate vaccinations, if over 6 months old are spayed or neutered, if under 6 months adopter is responsible for having that done between 6 and 10 months of age (we can offer some low cost options for you), microchipped with lifetime free membership, dewormed and will go home with a 3 to 5 day dewormer as well. Any medical conditions known are disclosed to the best of our ability. Adults are hw tested and status is disclosed. Please don't let HW positive dogs deter you. Please ask us and we will gladly explain the slow kill process! If you are out of state or out of area that is not a problem, we do offer relay transport for a small additional fee to cover health certificates required for private interstate travel and additional vetting required. We run solely on donations and house 100 plus dogs and 10 plus horses at any given time. Please be patient but if you do not hear from us within 48 hours of submitting your application please reach out. We are human and we do get very busy sometimes. Our email is Sgequinerescue@gmail.com you can email when you put your app in or wait the 48 hours. Just know some dogs have a lot of apps so the sooner the better in those cases. Adoption fees range from $150 to $400 We do not offer discounts of any kind. Adoption fees are set fees and not negotiable. These fees help with vetting on current and future animals we take in. We do not offer walk through "choose a dog/puppy" type experience. We are partially foster-based, we can help with matching dogs if you have something you have in mind so feel free to call or browse our available dogs at sger.petfinder.com You can meet before adoption but that is ONLY done with approved applicants. Thank you for considering giving a rescue dog a chance. You don't just save one life, you save 2! Story
What can we say about this girl? She has pins and plates in her back leg so she has a fun little pirate walk sometimes, but this has NEVER slowed her down! She is a fun puppy that just wants to explore whatever life throws her way. She is all about playing and being a total goofball, but will curl up in your lap, over your back, or anywhere she can get close to you to take naps. And she naps HARD! She’s been thriving in foster care and hasn’t met a stranger animal wise, even if she did have to learn to not mess with the cats the hard way. She’s ready for her forever home and deserves one where she’s going to be loved dearly and forever.

Story
Rama has spent the last two years of her life, enjoying an off leash dog Beach for at least a couple hours every day where she is absolutely perfect socially with the other dogs even if dogs are a little domineering towards her she knows how to de-escalate essentially any social situation so that part of drama is really phenomenal. She understood awfully training essentially right away. In a classic trauma like response, her personality has not come out until she has felt super super comfortable, which is essentially taken a couple years. I wasn’t familiar with quite how hypervigilant this breed is even though she’s rather chill compared to a lot of of her cohorts within the breed. She’s not great if you live in the suburbs as she loves to bark in, her bark is really loud. She would do well in a home with one or two other stable dogs. She does have resource gardening issues but as long as you feed her separately, it should be fine. Also safely lives with a cat
