Story
Finn is a fun boy with so much love to give and needs his perfect home to give it to. He is used to being around a lot of different sized dogs, he loves people, and can be cat tested upon request. He enjoys playing with any dog he is housed with and loves ALL the volunteers! We were able to save him and his sister from being euthanized at Cordele Animal Services and we would love for him to find his forever family. He is still learning his manners so a home with older kids and no fragile elderly would be best so he doesn’t accidentally knock anyone over; he doesn't have spatial awareness. He is already neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to go. Finn can be cat tested upon request. SGER FAQs:We are a 501c3 non profit rescue.Your information in our application is not shared and is protocol for adoption. Here is the application link. https://shorturl.at/syCM3All of our dogs have age-appropriate vaccinations, if over 6 months old are spayed or neutered, if under 6 months adopter is responsible for having that done between 6 and 10 months of age (we can offer some low cost options for you), microchipped with lifetime free membership, dewormed and will go home with a 3 to 5 day dewormer as well. Any medical conditions known are disclosed to the best of our ability. Adults are hw tested and status is disclosed. Please don't let HW positive dogs deter you. Please ask us and we will gladly explain the slow kill process! If you are out of state or out of area that is not a problem, we do offer relay transport for a small additional fee to cover health certificates required for private interstate travel and additional vetting required. We run solely on donations and house 100 plus dogs and 10 plus horses at any given time. Please be patient but if you do not hear from us within 48 hours of submitting your application please reach out. We are human and we do get very busy sometimes. Our email is Sgequinerescue@gmail.com you can email when you put your app in or wait the 48 hours. Just know some dogs have a lot of apps so the sooner the better in those cases. Adoption fees range from $150 to $400 We do not offer discounts of any kind. Adoption fees are set fees and not negotiable. These fees help with vetting on current and future animals we take in. We do not offer walk through "choose a dog/puppy" type experience. We are partially foster-based, we can help with matching dogs if you have something you have in mind so feel free to call or browse our available dogs at sger.petfinder.com You can meet before adoption but that is ONLY done with approved applicants. Thank you for considering giving a rescue dog a chance. You don't just save one life, you save 2! Story
www.k-9services.net Jack Adoption Bio: Border Collie Mix Must Own Home and Have Fenced in Yard Age 11 Months old Location: Green Cove Springs, Florida (Shep Rescue Camp) Rescue & Health: Jack was Rescued out of a very high kill shelter in Rural Ga. We kept seeing his Rescue pleas very surprised that he has been at the Shelter since late August. I felt he needed our urgent Rescue Assistance. The Shelter told us he was an owner surrender because his owner has Alzheimer's could no longer provide proper care. Jack will be neutered soon, he is current on vaccinations, flea, tick, heartworm prevention, dewormed, and microchipped. Behavior: Jack is super sweet, loves everyone he gets so over excited he will jump up on you but we are now working diligently to address this behavior. He is doing much better with training. He knows sit, down, is crate trained, still a bit hyper in the car but will settle down, currently learning how to play fetch. Jack is super smart and wants to please. He would do best with someone that can devote the time to him, good with other animals but does play rough he is much calmer without being around other dogs. Jack listens better one on one. Good with cats but will chase. Adoption Information: If you would like to provide Jack, a loving forever home he deserves or need additional information regarding our adoption process please email me direct on luvgermansheps@yahoo.com or submit an online application via our website www.k-9services.net go to Adoption Application Information page. An application needs to be completed prior to arranging a meet and greet. All dogs in rescue are temperament tested and have basic obedience implemented as a part of their daily routine. All behavioral issues are dealt with according to each case scenario. All dogs prior to going home are up to date on all vaccinations, spayed and or neutered. Application, home-check, and references must be approved prior to final adoption.
