Story
Meet Sirius.Smart, handsome, and built like a furry overachiever, Sirius is a 3-year-old Collie/Aussie mix who truly loves his people. He’s fantastic with kids and adults, has grown up around dogs and cats, and thinks belly rubs are a competitive sport. He’s fully house-trained, kennel-trained, doesn’t steal food, comes when called, and sits on command. He loves Jeep rides, and though he has had minimal leash training, he does well on leash and around other dogs in public. Sirius also comes with herding-dog energy. He loves to run, be outside, and use his busy brain. He needs an active home that can give him room to move and time to engage. Watching him spend too much time kenneled has been hard, and he deserves more than we can currently provide.Located in NE Florida. We require a meet & greet and home check to ensure the right fit. This has been a heartbreaking decision, but our goal is simple: a home where Sirius can truly thrive.

Story
Finn is a fun boy with so much love to give and needs his perfect home to give it to. He is used to being around a lot of different sized dogs, he loves people, and can be cat tested upon request. He enjoys playing with any dog he is housed with and loves ALL the volunteers! We were able to save him and his sister from being euthanized at Cordele Animal Services and we would love for him to find his forever family. He is still learning his manners so a home with older kids and no fragile elderly would be best so he doesn’t accidentally knock anyone over; he doesn't have spatial awareness. He is already neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to go. Finn can be cat tested upon request. SGER FAQs:We are a 501c3 non profit rescue.Your information in our application is not shared and is protocol for adoption. Here is the application link. https://shorturl.at/syCM3All of our dogs have age-appropriate vaccinations, if over 6 months old are spayed or neutered, if under 6 months adopter is responsible for having that done between 6 and 10 months of age (we can offer some low cost options for you), microchipped with lifetime free membership, dewormed and will go home with a 3 to 5 day dewormer as well. Any medical conditions known are disclosed to the best of our ability. Adults are hw tested and status is disclosed. Please don't let HW positive dogs deter you. Please ask us and we will gladly explain the slow kill process! If you are out of state or out of area that is not a problem, we do offer relay transport for a small additional fee to cover health certificates required for private interstate travel and additional vetting required. We run solely on donations and house 100 plus dogs and 10 plus horses at any given time. Please be patient but if you do not hear from us within 48 hours of submitting your application please reach out. We are human and we do get very busy sometimes. Our email is Sgequinerescue@gmail.com you can email when you put your app in or wait the 48 hours. Just know some dogs have a lot of apps so the sooner the better in those cases. Adoption fees range from $150 to $400 We do not offer discounts of any kind. Adoption fees are set fees and not negotiable. These fees help with vetting on current and future animals we take in. Story
What can we say about this girl? She has pins and plates in her back leg so she has a fun little pirate walk sometimes, but this has NEVER slowed her down! She is a fun puppy that just wants to explore whatever life throws her way. She is all about playing and being a total goofball, but will curl up in your lap, over your back, or anywhere she can get close to you to take naps. And she naps HARD! She’s been thriving in foster care and hasn’t met a stranger animal wise, even if she did have to learn to not mess with the cats the hard way. She’s ready for her forever home and deserves one where she’s going to be loved dearly and forever.

Story
Burnie boy was dumped at our gate while we were evacuated for the Highway 82 so he’s named for this occasion. He’s in a great and loving foster home where he’s getting all his puppy needs and desires more than met…he’s spoiled. He needs a home where he’s going to be a loved and cherished member of the family and never be left feeling unloved. We aren’t sure of his breed mix at all due to not knowing where he came from, but he’s really stinking cute!
