Story
Finn is a fun boy with so much love to give and needs his perfect home to give it to. He is used to being around a lot of different sized dogs, he loves people, and can be cat tested upon request. He enjoys playing with any dog he is housed with and loves ALL the volunteers! We were able to save him and his sister from being euthanized at Cordele Animal Services and we would love for him to find his forever family. He is still learning his manners so a home with older kids and no fragile elderly would be best so he doesn’t accidentally knock anyone over; he doesn't have spatial awareness. He is already neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to go. Finn can be cat tested upon request. SGER FAQs:We are a 501c3 non profit rescue.Your information in our application is not shared and is protocol for adoption. Here is the application link. https://shorturl.at/syCM3All of our dogs have age-appropriate vaccinations, if over 6 months old are spayed or neutered, if under 6 months adopter is responsible for having that done between 6 and 10 months of age (we can offer some low cost options for you), microchipped with lifetime free membership, dewormed and will go home with a 3 to 5 day dewormer as well. Any medical conditions known are disclosed to the best of our ability. Adults are hw tested and status is disclosed. Please don't let HW positive dogs deter you. Please ask us and we will gladly explain the slow kill process! If you are out of state or out of area that is not a problem, we do offer relay transport for a small additional fee to cover health certificates required for private interstate travel and additional vetting required. We run solely on donations and house 100 plus dogs and 10 plus horses at any given time. Please be patient but if you do not hear from us within 48 hours of submitting your application please reach out. We are human and we do get very busy sometimes. Our email is Sgequinerescue@gmail.com you can email when you put your app in or wait the 48 hours. Just know some dogs have a lot of apps so the sooner the better in those cases. Adoption fees range from $150 to $400 We do not offer discounts of any kind. Adoption fees are set fees and not negotiable. These fees help with vetting on current and future animals we take in. We do not offer walk through "choose a dog/puppy" type experience. We are partially foster-based, we can help with matching dogs if you have something you have in mind so feel free to call or browse our available dogs at sger.petfinder.com You can meet before adoption but that is ONLY done with approved applicants. Story
What can we say about this girl? She has pins and plates in her back leg so she has a fun little pirate walk sometimes, but this has NEVER slowed her down! She is a fun puppy that just wants to explore whatever life throws her way. She is all about playing and being a total goofball, but will curl up in your lap, over your back, or anywhere she can get close to you to take naps. And she naps HARD! She’s been thriving in foster care and hasn’t met a stranger animal wise, even if she did have to learn to not mess with the cats the hard way. She’s ready for her forever home and deserves one where she’s going to be loved dearly and forever.

Story
Do you ever look at a cute dog or puppy and wonder why they haven’t been adopted? Burnie is one of those puppies that we have that hasn’t had any interest, and it makes no sense. His foster mom says he’s doing fantastic with house training, he likes to go on car rides, explore, dog friendly, and a happy puppy all around. Besides the normal request for love and being safe, Burnie needs a home that’s willing to cuddle with him every chance possible. He loves to curl up between legs and just sprawl without a care in his little puppy world. If you think you can handle the constant demands for puppy snuggles, play time, and the absolute cuteness that is Burnie, he’s your boy. Burnie boy was dumped at our gate while we were evacuated for the Highway 82 so he’s named for this occasion.

Story
Hi, I`m Bailey, a one-year-old sweetheart with the cutest freckles you`ve ever seen and a zest for life that`s impossible to resist! If there were a championship for sticking your face out of a car window, I`d probably take home the gold medal. Nothing makes me happier than cruising down the road with the windows down, ears flapping in the breeze, and not a single care in the world.I`m also a social butterfly who believes that strangers are just friends I haven`t met yet. Whether we`re out on a walk or meeting new people, I`m always ready to say hello with a wagging tail and a smile. Speaking of walks—I happen to be a pretty polite lady on a leash, too! Now, let`s talk about the really important stuff: Starbucks pup cups. If you happen to pull into a drive-thru and order one for me, I`ll be convinced you`re the greatest human in history. It`s my favorite treat, and yes, I will happily supervise all future coffee runs. With my adorable freckles, friendly personality, and love for adventures big and small, I`m ready to be someone`s best friend, co-pilot, and pup cup enthusiast. So, what do you say? Grab the car keys, roll down the windows, and let`s go make some memories together!
