Story
She is extremely smart and loves to run and play! She knows how to sit, down, leave-it, stay, spin around, paw shake and speak! She loves attention and to have her ears, head and neck rubbed. She has lot of great qualities! She is a beautiful dog and has so much love to give!!! (and definitely loves getting it!)Now for the reason for rehoming:Not good with small children. she will be reactive and can act aggressive towards them. She loves to go for walks. She will react to other dogs/cats while on leash, but plays well with dogs off leash. She has been trained, and she does very well with the command "by me" during walks. We have drastically changed our life style this past year, moving my elderly parents in with us and now have a new grandbaby. She was so used to hiking and doing a lot of outdoor activities with a more active lifestyle that we no longer can give her.We Love her and want the best for her!! Please contact us with any questions!Angie & Mike 352-514-6547 / 352-359-4133

Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Jamison aka Jamie is an almost 6-year-old, 65lb. female border collie/border collie mix whose person passed away. This sweet girl is good with all dogs large and small; she previously lived with a cat and does great with kids. Current kids in her foster home are ages 4, 7, 10 and 14.  She is house trained and crate trained, walks well on a leash, sleeps through the night in her open crate, and rides well in a car. She knows basic commands of sit, stay and paw. This medium-energy girl loves to be outside with you, and we are requiring a fenced yard for her. She absolutely loves dog toys. Her favorites are soccer balls and footballs. She loves playing fetch, and she will bring the ball back to you as you can see in her video. Even though she is good with kids, herding breed dogs such as Jamie may want to herd small children, so small toddlers would probably not be best for her. She also is a very intelligent breed, and will need someone who can provide the time for daily mental stimulation activities such as advanced treat puzzles, shell games with cups, DIY indoor scent searches, muffin tin and tennis ball games, and targeted trick-training sessions. This is not a breed that can be left to just lie around while you work or be left home alone. She will need someone who is home more often than not. She will also need regular brushing and grooming.  She does need to be fed separately because she tends to get growly when another dog approaches while she is eating. She has no issues with another dog when treats are doled out. She is fearful during storms, fireworks and some other loud noises and will retreat to her crate or find a safe hiding spot. Jamie is an amazing dog - she is very loving and has a great personality. Whoever adopts her will be a very lucky family. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect home for Jamison, please complete an app and tell us more about your family.  September 8, 2026, 5:52 pm
