You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Graduated Oct 9, 2026Pet Rescue By Judy has teamed up with an incredible program called the Greyhound Advancement Center which will allow some of our dogs to attend a ten-week prison training program. The program originally started to help retired racing greyhounds learn how to “dog”.Greyhound racing is now illegal in our state, but the program worked so well that they decided to open up to other rescues and accept different breeds. Each dog is teamed up with an inmate who is in their dog training program. This program allows inmates to gain an important skill that they can bring with them when they are released. The head trainers are the best of the best and we are sure that these dogs are going to come out of this program with all kinds of tricks up their little doggy sleeves. Our dogs are so blessed to be able to learn important obedience training to help with their confidence and make them awesome additions to a family.We cannot thank Greyhound Advancement Center enough for giving these dogs a leg up on getting into their forever home!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 30, 2026, 7:43 pm

Meet Blu! He is a 38-pound, six-month-old boy, born April 6, 2026, in Sanford, FL. We believe he is a Border Collie mix, although his breed is not confirmed. He is neutered, house-trained, and current on vaccinations. He is not crate-trained. Blu regularly attends doggy daycare and has experience socializing with other dogs. He currently lives with two cats. He needs a patient, loving family with time for daily activity, continued training, and a consistent routine. I recently started a new job and no longer have the time to give him the attention he needs. Finding a safe, stable, permanent home is my priority. His rehoming fee is $200, negotiable for an excellent home. Please tell us about your household, pets, dog experience, and daily schedule.

When I tell you she is smart, I mean smart as a whip. She is attentive, food motivated, eager to please, and will be a star pupil in any training class. She loves everybody — people and dogs of all shapes and sizes — and she has absolutely no fear aggression. Honestly, she could almost apply for a job as a Walmart greeter. I found Yuka at the Weslaco, Texas shelter in deep South Texas. She had no collar, no tag, no microchip, was not spayed, was loaded with fleas, and no one came looking for her. Yuka is CHAGAS and Heartworm negative. We are so happy she is here with us now. Yuka would make an excellent addition to just about any family setting I can think of, as long as her family is able to give her the exercise, structure, and attention she deserves. Yuka is located at our shelter near San Antonio, TX and is available for transport to St. Augustine, FL on December 19th with approved application and confirmed adoption. Her adoption fee is $450. The fee includes transport cost.
