Story
407-619-8216 ADOPT Moe, a super sweet dog who needs a great home! text/call 407-619-8216 for more information (please read entire ad before calling, thank you). This adoption is NOT through Furry Nation Salvation and is a Courtesy Post. Please call the individual listed below with any further questions or to set up a time to meet the pet. Thank you. Please call/text this number if interested: 407-619-8216 Dog located in this city: Deland, Florida Dog’s Name: Moe Dog’s Breed: Black lab/Border collie mix Dog’s Age & Sex: 9 years, male Dog’s approximate weigh: about 60 pounds Animals story: (where found and reason for rehoming):  We took Moe in from my cousin when he moved and couldn’t keep him; we’ve had him for about 7 years. A lot has changed in our lives in the last several years, including babies, moving, loss of jobs, and owner health diagnoses.   We just cannot care for him the way we once could Personality: Moe, has a heart of gold. He is loyal. He is always up for affection and attention, and he's not afraid to push his way to the front of the line to get it. Despite his loving nature, Moe has a few anxieties - thunderstorms and being left alone can cause him distress, and he'll often express his discomfort with a high-pitched whine. But don't worry, treats and snacks are always a great comfort for Moe, who has a voracious appetite and loves to chow down on his favorite snacks. Overall, Moe is a loyal, loving, and playful companion who will bring joy and laughter to your life. House Trained and/or crate trained? Yes, both Any bad habits or things that need to be worked on with him/her?  At random times, he will chew on things. One time it was a shoelace, once the corner of my comforter, once the cushion for the dining chair. We have not noticed it associated with any behavior issue, and it just seems random and very seldom. When it's time to leave the house, Moe is trained to retreat to his crate, which provides a sense of security and helps alleviate his separation anxiety. Dog good with kids, cats, or other dogs? Moe is very loving of any and all human affection, loves our children.  He has done well with a kitten age up to 1 year old cat. Moe has not had much socialization with other dogs. He has been homed with a medium sized dog for about 7 years and they bonded well. We cannot attest to how he will do with other dog sizes or breeds. Animals vetting history (neutered/spayed, vaccinations, microchipped)?:  microchipped and neutered. Moe has had several ear infections in the past and had to have surgery once about 3 years ago for an ear hematoma   Any Supplies that go with pet (food, leash, collar, bedding, toys): Any food that we have at the time of adoption will go with him, his leash and collar. HERE IS A YOUTUBE VIDEO OF MOE. Just copy and paste it into your browser. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/m56rhbzcBqQ IF YOU WANT TO ADOPT: 1) Please show up with a leash and collar (if one is not provided) 2) Adoption fee of $50 to ensure a good home 3) I will call/text one month from adoption day just to make sure everything is going well 4) Please show up with your Drivers License. 5) Information sheet will be filled out (your information as well as mine) Call/text me if interested in this pet: 407-619-8216

Story
Ki is a busy 27 pound year old girl who loves to chase balls or frisbees. She is crate trained and walks on a leash. She loves other dogs and wants to wrestle and play chase with them. She would probably love to do agility or other dog sports. She is very confident in new places and in new situations and with new people. She is probably too rowdy for young children. For an application to meet and possibly adopt Ki, please contact Joanne at jobradow@aol.com Ki’s adoption fee is $150April 14, 2024, 3:31 pm

Story
Daisy Mae is a 7-year-old, 75 lb, Border Collie/Heeler mix looking for her forever family. She is UTD, spayed, microchipped and housebroken. Daisy Mae is medium energy and would love a family to relax with after going on walks and chasing balls. She is good with dogs her size or larger but not good with small dogs and not good with cats, and prefers no children. Daisy can be prone to UTI's so she takes a cranberry supplement to help prevent them. She has been known to guard items of high value and would benefit from an active and experienced family that has previous experience with resource guarding behaviors. Training will be provided at no cost to her new family to help ensure her success. Daisy Mae has to find her new forever home because she currently lives with a toddler and needs to be in a home without children under the age of 16 yrs old due to resource guarding behaviors. Daisy's ideal home would be an adult only home that is open to participating in training to make some minor resource guarding issues easier to manage. She is a well-trained, medium energy companion that would make an amazing pet. Please note, Daisy Mae is part of Happy Trails Animal Rescue’s rehoming program. Information provided is based on their current guardian’s statements and limited interaction with volunteers. They are not under the care of the rescue. They are under the care of their current guardian. The owner is subject to placement outside of our organization. We cannot guarantee availability. Adoption fee REDUCED: $ 75 ##1177999##
