She is now gracing us all here with her presence and her kissies. Dior is looking for a home who can keep up with her `energetic zest`. Her ideal day would include lots of walks and play and would end in her stealing your table scraps. She is easy to walk on a leash and is incredibly smart. She is social with other dogs and would love another energetic playmate! Please consider opening your home and heart to Dior!

Meet Kahula! This five year old, border collie mix is an absolute dream of a dog. When you show her the slightest bit of attention, she gets sooo happy. She just wants to be by your side and have her fur stroked and be doted over lovingly. She`s tolerant and appropriate around other dogs, but isn`t super duper playful just yet because she is still coming out of her shell in the shelter environment. Her energy level is moderate and once she runs around a bit and gets some sniffs out, she really just wants to bask in the sun with her human. She would be an excellent walking buddy and cuddle bug for movie nights on the couch. Give her some popcorn and she`s in heaven! Emily is a very special girl with a gentle soul. When you first meet her, she may be a little shy and reserved — but give her just a little time, and a ride or two in your car and you’ll discover the incredibly loving dog she truly is.  She needs a family with a rescue heart and a little bit of patience. With people she knows, Emily becomes friendly, affectionate, and even a little playful. She has a beautiful way of looking right into your eyes and becomes your best canine friend It’s no surprise that everyone who works with her becomes a big fan. Emiy is a reluctant owner surrender, from a woman that can no longer live on her own. Her orignial mom told us "Emily is a very special girl, and needs a special family", so that isn't just the opinion of our volunteers.   Dogs and puppies are spayed or neutered, Heartworm negative, microchipped, appropriately vaccinated and treated for parasites. Applications to adopt can be found at harthumane.org. If you cannot adopt a pet at this time but would like to support our rescue, donations can be mailed to Hart County Humane Society P.O.
