Story
Alix #24280 is a white and black female Australian Shepherd and Border Collie mix. She is approximately 3 years old. She weighs 55.0 lbs.. She has not been spayed. She was picked up stray by an animal control officer on 8/18/26; hold expires 8/21/26. She is calm and low energy. She appears to be well socialized. She was thin at intake. She is heartworm negative. She is current on vaccines. She is leash broken. She sits on command. Meds: heartworm negative, distemper/parvo, pyrantal deworm, fleay spray, bordetella/parainfluenza. Meet Alix, a beautiful 3-year-old Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix who weighs 55 pounds and has a wonderfully calm, good-natured personality. From the moment we met her, Alix impressed us with her gentle, easygoing nature. She appears friendly and well socialized and has been a pleasure to handle. Alix has a gorgeous white-and-black coat, but her wonderfully fluffy, curled tail may be our favorite feature—it stands out behind her like a little flag waving in the breeze! She is calm and quiet, and so far, we haven't even heard her bark. If you enjoy walks with a well-mannered companion, Alix could be a great match. She is excellent on a leash and heels nicely as she walks. She also knows how to sit on command, showing that she's ready to continue learning with her new family. She was completely cooperative for her diagnostics and vaccines and didn't even need a muzzle for her heartworm blood draw. Her heartworm test was negative. Alix has so much to offer a loving home. Please come meet this sweet, beautiful girl and give her the chance to become your forever companion. Rescue interest is warmly welcomed, too!

Story
Meet Goose! Goose is new to us and a little shy at first, but give him about 10 minutes, and he’ll show you what a sweet, playful, and lovable dog he truly is!Goose loves toys, enjoys being around his people, and is happiest when he has other dogs to keep him company. In fact, we’re still trying to find something Goose doesn’t like! We haven’t come up with much yet, although we’re guessing trips to the vet and vegetables probably aren’t high on his list.If you’re looking for a wonderful companion who loves learning new things, enjoys having fun, and simply wants to be by your side as much as possible, Goose might be your perfect match. He’s ready to find his person and fill their life with plenty of love, laughter, and tail wags!Goose`s adoption fee is $200. This includes his neuter, microchip, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, heartworm test (if over 9 months old), and he is up to date on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. If you are interested in adopting Goose, you may fill out an application at www. tlchs.org or you are welcome to make a Match Making appointment to come out and meet him first. We are open Tuesday – Sunday 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

Story
Puppers is a sweet boy looking for the right family to give him the love and stability he deserves. Though he is still a puppy, he balances energetic play with gentle companionship. The rough start to his young life has not dampened his spirits and he warms up quickly to new people. He is a funny little guy and most things are still new to him, so he has a calm and cautious curiosity. He gets along with other dogs extremely well and integrates seamlessly, following the lead of others. He is not a barker, even when other dogs are. He has shown no signs of being a destructive chewer, but he does enjoy making off with an available sock to be chased. He loves to be scratched on his chin and ears. He does well on leash, not tugging or resisting direction. Puppers is looking for a home to offer him love, attention and security. Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies!
