This girl has been soaking up love, learning quickly, and showing just how adaptable she can be.While her foster isn’t able to adopt long term due to continuing to help other dogs in need, Lakota is absolutely ready for the next chapter — a forever home of her own. She’s currently available for adoption and can be brought in to meet potential adopters as soon as interest comes in.Lakota is the kind of dog who proves that sometimes the best “returns” are the ones that lead to something even better. If you’re looking for a sweet, smart pup who’s already off to a great start, Lakota may be your perfect match.📞 Contact DeKalb Humane Society to learn more or set up a meet and greet.An adoption application can be filled out on the DHS website https://www.dekalbhumanesociety.org/adopt.
