She may be a little slower to trust at first, but once she feels safe, her true self shines through—sweet, calm, and deeply affectionate. She isn’t shut down; she’s just learning how to feel secure again after losing the only home she’s ever known. Because of her sensitive nature, Millie would do best in a quiet, patient home with a steady routine and people who will let her move at her own pace. Calm, respectful older children would be ideal—she’s not built for chaos, but she thrives with kindness, consistency, and reassurance. Millie is a good dog who loved deeply and is capable of loving again—with time. What she needs now is a soft place to land, a gentle hand, and a forever home that understands that trust takes time, but is so worth the wait. We are best of friends.We play so well together and would love to go home together, if at all possible. But not necessary.I have the softest black and white coat.I have found other friends here at the shelter. I am very social and would probably be friends with most dogs.If you are looking for that perfect medium sized dog, I`m it.
