Story
Before their arrival at Noah`s Ark in March, Daisy and Luna had a difficult start. These sweet girls, around 3 years old, came to us after their owner was no longer able to care for them. They had been living in a pen and arrived covered in fleas and ticks, but with lots of love and care, they`ve made a wonderful transformation.Daisy is the more outgoing of the pair and loves meeting new people, while Luna is a little more reserved and prefers to take her time getting to know you. Once she feels safe, her gentle, loving personality shines through. These dogs are looking for a family who will give them the happy, comfortable life they deserve. If you`re looking for one or two loyal companions with hearts full of love, Daisy and Luna are ready to meet you!

Story
Bug is a loving and silly 6-year-old Border Collie who is looking for a new place to call home. This handsome boy recently lost his beloved owner and is now searching for a new family to share his love with. Bug is a true cuddle bug who thrives on human companionship. He'll happily curl up next to you on the couch for a cozy evening and even try sitting on your head when you lay in bed and his silly antics are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. Bug is, in true Border Collie fashion, a bit energetic. He would love a family that allows him to be outside as much as possible and is willing to work on some simple training.

Story
Bullet is one of those dogs who can steal your heart in a matter of minutes. He is incredibly lovable, affectionate, and full of personality. He knows “sit,” has good recall, enjoys being close to his people, and can settle beautifully when he’s getting pets and attention. He’s also a very active boy who loves to move, play, and be involved in whatever you’re doing.Bullet has a lot of energy and, more importantly, he has some big feelings about the world around him. He can be reactive to cars, bicycles, people, and things like vacuums, blenders, and lawn mowers. When triggered, he may bark, lunge, or try to mouth moving objects. His reaction to traffic can happen quickly and unexpectedly, so this is something his future family will need to take very seriously and be prepared to manage safely. He is also still learning boundaries in the home. He has struggled with furniture, counters, doors, and windows and may mouth or nip when asked to move from something he wants. Because of this, we believe Bullet needs someone who understands dog behavior, is comfortable setting clear boundaries, and is willing to continue working with him rather than expecting him to simply know what is expected of him. He has also shown a tendency to mouth hands and arms, so continued work on appropriate ways to interact will be important.Despite these challenges, Bullet has so many wonderful qualities. His potty habits are good, he loves affection, and he genuinely enjoys being with his people. He has previously lived with an active family, but his energy and reactivity ultimately became more than they felt they could manage. We don`t believe Bullet is a bad dog—we believe he is a dog who needs a confident, calm, experienced handler who can give him structure, consistency, and direction.Bullet has the potential to be an incredible companion for the right person. He needs someone who will see the lovable dog underneath the big reactions and be willing to put in the work to help him succeed. If you are experienced with energetic, reactive dogs and are looking for a companion who will give you just as much love as you give him, Bullet deserves a chance to meet you.Our dog adoption fee is $150 and includes their spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm testing, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives. You can get a head start by filling out our adoption questionnaire at https://agcshelter.org/adopt-1, or you can stop in at 2205 E. Washington St. in
