Story
In February 2022, Beauties received a report of a momma dog and 7 newborn puppies in a tiny kennel by a dumpster. Brynne was scared and protective of her family, naturally, but our team was able to get them to safety. Sadly, 2 of the babies had already perished by the time we got the report but the rest survived and found homes long ago. However, Brynne is still looking for a place of her own! She is a good girl who needs a strong leader who can help guide her. She can be a little slow to trust new people but once she does, she is very sweet and playful! She is vocal so no apartment-type living arrangements for her. Brynne is active and does great in doggy daycare. She is getting better on leash. She may bark at some people and vehicles while on walks, and gets anxious / impatient in certain situations especially if she has to wait somewhere. Boarding has been great for exposing her to new people and situations but we look forward to getting her back into a home where she can continue to grow.

Hi there, I’m Maisie, the quiet one you might notice last. I can be a little shy when we first meet, but please don’t let that fool you. I warm up very quickly once I know I’m safe. I’m independent and pretty calm indoors. However, if I see or hear something interesting outside, I’ll make sure to let my people know. I love watching the world go by from the window and soaking up gentle pets when you’re nearby. I have a very special bond with my best friend, Charlie the Golden Retriever. We’ve grown up together, and I’d really love for us to be adopted as a pair. I know that might sound like a lot, but it actually makes things easier. I always have a buddy to play with, and Charlie helps me feel brave when I get a little anxious. Outside, we love to roughhouse and have fun together. I know how to sit and down and plan to learn even more. Also, I am potty trained and crate trained. If you’re looking for a loyal, thoughtful companion (or two!) who just needs a little patience and a lot of love, I might be the one you’ve been waiting for. Unfortunately, we are no longer able to continue caring for Oreo. She is an incredibly loving and sweet dog who truly enjoys cuddles, affection, and being close to her person. Oreo thrives on attention and loves going on walks, which is something she needs regularly. She is very obedient, well-behaved, and fully potty trained. Oreo does best as the only pet in the home, where she can receive all the love and attention she deserves. Due to my pregnancy, I’m unable to give her the level of care, handling, and activity she needs, and we want to make sure she finds a home where she can continue to be happy, loved, and well cared for.

Hi I’m Cinnamon, an 8-year-old Shepherd mix with a calm heart, good manners, and a very important job: looking out for my little sister, Tilly. We were abandoned together, but kind humans rescued us and are helping us find our furever people. We are bonded and will be happiest staying together. Between the two of us, I’m the brave, steady one, and I make sure my sister always feels safe. I’m spayed, in great health, and just had my teeth cleaned, so my smile is looking pretty good these days. I’m friendly with people, dogs, and cats, and I have a mellow, easygoing personality. I’m a good listener and know my basic commands. I respond well to gentle corrections and pride myself on having very good manners. I’m not food aggressive, though I’ll admit, I do like to help myself to Tilly’s leftovers once I’m done with mine. I walk beautifully on a leash and enjoy daily walks, quiet yard play in the mornings, a good chew (bully sticks and pig ears are favorites!), and sitting on the deck with my sister on the lookout for squirrels. More than anything, I love being near my human throughout the day. I’m happiest just keeping you company. Hi! I’m Tilly! I’m a 3-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for cuddling on the couch. My sister Cinnamon and I were found in the middle of traffic (scary, I know!). Luckily our rescuers scooped us up and are helping us find our furever home. We’re super bonded, so where she goes, I go too. I’m spayed, healthy, and very friendly: I really ove humans and other doggies. I know my basic commands, respond well to gentle corrections, and always try to do the right thing. I’m great on a leash and love going for walks, playing in the yard, and a playing a good game of fetch. I also enjoy my chew time (bully sticks are a favorite!) and am committed to keeping my yard safe from the threat of a squirrel invasion. I’m not food aggressive at all and eat politely, even when my sister tries to sneak my leftovers once I’m done. I’m a smart girl, too. I’ve even figured out how to open doors… but don’t worry, I won’t if you tell me not to.
