Story
In February 2022, Beauties received a report of a momma dog and 7 newborn puppies in a tiny kennel by a dumpster. Brynne was scared and protective of her family, naturally, but our team was able to get them to safety. Sadly, 2 of the babies had already perished by the time we got the report but the rest survived and found homes long ago. However, Brynne is still looking for a place of her own! She is a good girl who needs a strong leader who can help guide her. She can be a little slow to trust new people but once she does, she is very sweet and playful! She is vocal so no apartment-type living arrangements for her. Brynne is active and does great in doggy daycare. She is getting better on leash. She may bark at some people and vehicles while on walks, and gets anxious / impatient in certain situations especially if she has to wait somewhere. Boarding has been great for exposing her to new people and situations but we look forward to getting her back into a home where she can continue to grow.

Double the Love, Double the Joy Meet Tango & Cash — a bonded pair of sweet brothers looking for their forever home together. These handsome boys first found their way into hearts back in 2018 when they arrived at a local brewery and were adopted into a loving home. Sadly, due to their family being relocated to a care facility, Tango and Cash have returned to our care as of March 2026. Through it all, one thing has never changed—their incredible bond. These two are happiest side by side, sharing quiet moments, gentle affection, and unconditional love. They are calm, loving companions who are ready to bring warmth, loyalty, and twice the happiness into a new home. And don’t let their age fool you—they’ve still got a little pep in their step and love getting out for walks together! If you’ve ever thought about adopting or fostering, this is your sign to open your heart to not one, but two amazing souls who truly belong together. Help Tango & Cash start their next chapter—together, forever.

Story
Max is a 1-year-old Border Collie with a bright, active personality and a lot of potential. He’s a smart dog who enjoys having structure and clear guidance, and he’ll do best in a home that can provide both.Right now, Max is still working on his social skills. He can become overstimulated around other dogs and may react by getting nippy when he feels overwhelmed. Because of this, he needs a calm environment and careful introductions, along with continued training to help him build confidence.Max isn’t suited to a home with young children and should only live with kids over 10 who can understand his boundaries and give him space when needed. With patience, consistency, and the right support, Max can form a strong bond with his owner and become a devoted companion.

Story
Meet Loki: The Sweet Herding Boy in Need of a Loving Home! Loki is a charming pup who came to us from the Ponca City shelter in late spring 2021. He’s a typical herding breed with a heart full of love and a playful spirit! On walks, Loki is super sweet and eager to explore, but being a herding breed, he can get a bit excited and nip at times. For this reason, a home without children would be the best fit for him. He thrives with consistent training and responds well to verbal corrections or even a gentle spray from a water bottle. He’s a champ at sitting for treats and loves to shake paws! Loki will need a structured environment and a strong leader to help bring out his best qualities. While he’s been playful with small dogs, he hasn’t done well with dogs his size or larger. Therefore, a home without other dogs would be ideal for his safety and comfort. Athletic and energetic, Loki jumps high and loves to climb, so a secure 6-foot fence in his new home is a must! This smart boy would greatly benefit from the love and attention of a foster or adopter who can help him thrive. If you're ready to provide a structured, loving environment for Loki, he will reward you with endless affection and loyalty. Let’s help Loki find his forever home!
