Story
Meet Brynne, a sweet, spirited girl who has been waiting far too long for her forever home. Brynne is a 45-pound Collie/Shepherd mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She has affectionately earned the title of “Fun Police” because she isn’t shy about voicing her opinion when the other dogs get too rowdy, someone gets a treat before she does, or her own snack service is moving a little too slowly. Her sass is just part of what makes Brynne so lovable. Brynne’s story began in February 2022, when she was found living in a tiny kennel beside a dumpster with her seven newborn puppies. Sadly, two of her babies had already passed away before help arrived. Brynne had been doing everything she could to protect her family. Her surviving puppies eventually grew up and found homes, but Brynne is still waiting for someone to choose her. During her time in boarding, Brynne has made tremendous progress and gained confidence around new people and situations. She can be slow to trust, but once you are part of her circle, she is sweet, playful, affectionate, goofy, and incredibly loyal. She loves balls, walks, treats, doggy daycare, snuggling with her trusted people, and making sure everyone around her follows the rules. Brynne is great with other dogs and thrives in doggy daycare. She continues to improve on leash, although she may bark at certain people or vehicles and can become anxious or impatient when asked to wait. She will do best with a confident, patient adopter who can provide structure, consistency, exercise, positive guidance, and plenty of treats along the way. Brynne needs a home without cats or children. Because she can be vocal, apartment living is not recommended. She is currently in boarding and deserves the chance to finally experience the comfort and security of a home of her own. Brynne isn’t looking for a perfect person—she’s looking for her person. Someone who understands that trust takes time, appreciates a dog with plenty of personality, and will continue showing her that the world can be a safe place. After protecting her puppies, overcoming a difficult beginning, and waiting years for her chance, it’s finally time for Brynne to be chosen.

Story
Ellie had come to us when her family was moving and couldn’t have a dog in their new place. We are told she use to be on a farm but then her owner passed. Then she went to the family and was with them for a few years. She is a very sweet dog but does like to herd the cats and if they walk by her she will chase them. They all spend a lot of time trying to avoid Ellie while she spends a lot of time trying to manage the cats.

Story
Meet Milo!Milo is a 5-year-old Border Collie who is full of love for the people he knows and trusts. He’s a sweet, loyal guy who enjoys spending time with his humans and would love nothing more than to be someone’s faithful companion.Milo can be a little unsure when meeting new people, so he does best with a family that understands he may need a little time to warm up. Once he feels comfortable, his sweet personality really shines through, and he becomes a loving friend who wants to be part of your life.Milo is looking for a home that fits his needs. He cannot live with cats or chickens, and he would prefer to be in a home without senior dogs. He does best when his boundaries are respected and he has a family that can help him feel safe and confident. With the right person, Milo has so much love to give. He’s a smart, devoted dog who just needs someone willing to see him for who he is and give him the chance to be the wonderful companion he can be.

Story
Oreo loves to play with other dogs, children, and adults. Spends most of his time running in the yard and playing in kiddie pool. Likes to jump in water and have it poured on, but doesnt like being sprayed with hose. Currently spends most of time outside playing with other dog, but likes to have shelter from direct sun and rain. If you have dogs it would be good if they are playful also. If you have kids he will want to play and cuddle all the time. At night sleeps on cushion, dog bed, blanket, or dirt, he always seems to change his mind what he likes most. He is a fun loving dog and loves attention, older dogs may be annoyed if they are not use to the attention. Will probably chase cats around to play unless they smack him in the face like our cat does to make him leave her alone. All around healthy and up to date on all shots for a 1.5 year old, 55lb dog.
