Berry is in his “quiet chapter” right now — but it won’t last forever. This handsome black and white Border Collie mix came to us as a stray, and while we don’t know much about his past, we do know he has a bright, energetic spirit waiting patiently beneath his recovery period. Berry is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm disease, which means he needs something very important right now: rest, routine, and a comfortable indoor home where he can safely heal. For an active dog, slowing down isn’t always easy, but Berry is doing his best. He’s looking for someone willing to help him through the temporary part so he can get back to the life he’s meant for — walks, playtime, adventures, and being an active companion again. Right now, Berry needs a soft place to land. Later, he’ll be the dog ready to go wherever life takes you.
