Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Online Adoption Application!   Meet Boots, a beautiful Border Collie mix who has had a rough start. She’s spent her life chained, but now thanks to a beautiful rescue mom is blossoming in a home environment. She’s said to be around 4 years old, though she seems younger in energy and spirit. Boots is proving what a wonderful girl she truly is. She loves to run, explore the yard, and especially play with her new friend Cora. Cora can be a bit rough, but Boots handles it like a champ. Even her new blind senior friend, Socks, has decided she’s worth playing with! She is a shy girl at first, but she warms up very quickly. • Leash: She may pull a little, but when I remind her that I’m an “old woman,” she slows right down. • Car rides: Hops in fairly easily and rides well. • Vet care: Fully vetted, microchipped, and her 4DX test was all negative. Boots has been in foster for almost two weeks and has been no trouble at all. Her quirks are harmless and honestly kind of sweet: • Her foster mom leaves the back door open and Boots just loves to dart in and out, child like. When she comes inside, she likes to tuck herself under a table or other safe spot. That’s her comfort place, and she’s happy to have Cora join her for playtime there. • Boots has never tried to dig under or go over the fence. • Her reputation indicated she may not be trustworthy with cats, but she hasn’t been near them in foster to truly know. Boots truly deserves a home where she can get more one-on-one attention and continue learning what it means to be loved. She has shown zero aggression in her foster home—just a gentle, grateful personality that wants to feel safe. If you’d like more info about Boots or want to meet her, please reach out. She’s ready for her new beginning. Story
Finn is a funny and sweet dog. He is high energy but calms when asked to. We purchased him about a year ago to be our second herding dog as ours is getting older and not able to do the work. He needs someone with experience with working dogs. He was doing amazing at herding until recently it’s like he goes into work mode and his ears turn off and he ignores his recall. We were willing to work with him on this but he was also our protection dog for the goats and chickens, especially at night. In the last few weeks he has been using our chickens as a late night snack and we do not have the time to train him out of this habit as we have a newborn. He is great during the day protecting the chickens from other predators but at night he treats himself by eating one of the chickens… He is not neutered due to his rare coloring and being purebred to potentially breed later. He is great with our toddler, very very sweet and gentle. Unfortunately he is eating our income.

Story
Snow is roughly 2-4 years old. She was found on the side of the street when she was a little puppy. Since then she has become very active and is strong. I’m looking for someone who will give her the time and love she needs. She is good with most other dogs we have only had trouble with one out of many that have been introduced. She also want to chase and play with cats. She doesn’t hurt them but she does scare them and other small animals as well. She is so sweet and lovable and she loves pets.
