My previous owner got too old to take care of me and had to go to a nursing home where I cannot stay. I am as sweet as can be. I whimper when you pet me and love attention. I am a cuddle dog that is fully House and Crate Trained. I do not bark. I am an indoor dog. I get along well with other dogs and won't give you any trouble. Please adopt me. All my shots are up to date and I come with 4 months of flea / tick / heartworm medications. I come with a large crate that you can put in the house and simply say "crate" and I will go into it. I pee on command Outside in the grass so you don't have to wait a long time for me 'to go". I am NOT a picky eater and will eat what you give me . I am a Good Girl ready for adoption.

We have welcomed 'Quinn' to the Heart in Hand Family! We believe he is a Border Collie/Heeler Mix, about 4 years old. In such a short time, he has shown us what a little gentlemen he is! Seems friendly with everyone, submissive with other dogs, as he just wants to play! Seems ok around cats - he ignores them for the most part - unless they hiss and run then its 'tag your it' haha! He also seems good around other farm animals - doesn't pay attention to chickens or goats! He only wants to play with his doggies friends and be with a person. We need to work on leash training and basic commands which we started yesterday! He is very bright and has already started to get the gist of what we are asking from him! Just a wonderful lil' spirit! We just know he is going make such a wonderful addition to his new family! He has a playful personality and seems to really enjoy squeaky tennis balls—one of his favorite ways to have some fun! 🎾He seems to do well with other dogs, although he has only been kenneled with one other dog here at the shelter. Because of that, we recommend bringing your dog in for a meet-and-greet before adoption. 🐶We aren't sure how Otis would do with cats.
