Athena, a one-year-old Border Collie mix, is a sweet girl with lots of love to give. She absolutely loves playing with her foster siblings and has a lot of energy and keeps up with them. She loves all sorts of play with dogs and humans alike. She does fantastic off leash in the yard and stays nearby. She loves to ride in the car. She is very trainable and is VERY food motivated. She knows sit and always sits before her food. She gets along well with all dogs and is learning cats are okay. She is not scared and does well with both boundaries and saying what she needs. She is working hard on potty training and does not have #2 accidents only #1. That’s a big improvement. Not fully crate trained as far as accidents go but does not whine in the crate. She loves chew toys and would do well with a family that could allow her to be active. I do think she is younger than her papers say. Abby was abandoned at my boyfriend's house by his friends who had been living with him before I moved in. Once I moved in, they left to work at the carnivals and left Abby and their cat here, and then wouldn't come back for them. Abby was left with a severe flea allergy that I treated, I had her spayed, and we have been trying to take care of her for the past 2 years. But, her flea allergy has become too much for us to financially handle. **She will need vet care for current skin condition** She is a great dog, gets along with other dogs and cats. It does take a little time for her to get along with new people, but she will get along with new people too. She is now 3 years old and needs a new home with someone who will be able to take her to a vet consistently for the help she needs with the skin issues she has and someone who will not let her stay inside all day and be bored as she is a high energy dog. **Pictures are what she looks like when she is healthy and has all of her hair**

COWBOY, TAKE ME AWAY! How can you resist this cute, adorable, 7 mo old. 35 pd cowboy? Who doesn't want to be kissed by a cowboy? This adorable pup was rescued from a very bad situation, which will be explained by present foster mom in California. He is a perfect gentleman, sweet as can be, and saved in the nick of time. He walks great off leash, but we always ask that you never let off leash until he is bonded to his new owner and has good recall. He would make a wonderful hiking and camping partner. Cowboy loves other dogs but a cat free home is best for him. He will be trucking or should I say bouncing in on his horse to Maine as soon as we can find a place for him to graze. If you want to adopt Cowboy, i will put you in contact with his foster mom, Dianna. Thanks for loving this awesome cowboy!! YEE HAW!!
