From his foster: I am so impressed with this puppy. He redirects beautifully when needed which isn’t often. He slept until 7:30 this morning. He gets up and we go outside and he pees in literally 5 seconds and poops. My other cat was willing to meet him last night and he laid right down to let her come to him and he gently smelled her and is such a gentlemen! He’s sleeping in a crate and last night he didn’t cry once. I am so impressed that a dog his age is doing so well! Have you seen a cuter face? Waylon is a 17-week-old mix. Some say Aussie as his coat is fluffier than it looks. He is in foster in the south and doing great. Good with dogs and cats and loving people this boy will brighten any home. If someone crossed a puppy with an otter and a monkey… you’d get me. I’m bold, fearless, endlessly curious, and always ready for my next adventure. The good news? I also come with an excellent “off switch” and proudly hold the title of best sleeper.What I love:Zoomies, balls, stuffed animals, window-watching (neighborhood security is serious business), cuddles, and playtime with my siblings. Near Portland: This handsome boy is Brody. Just look at those amazing eyes! They will make you fall in love with him. He knows his basic obedience (sit, down, stay, place, leash walking), is crate trained, and is also working on muzzle training! He is around 7-8 years old and is mostly an Aussie/lab mix. He is neutered and current on his immunizations. Brody is a smart, loving, and affectionate dog who enjoys learning, adventuring, hiking, running, and exploring the outdoors. He is looking for a home, preferably with someone who is active, and would do best in a home without young children. He would thrive as the only dog in the home due to some resource guarding issues around other dogs. When it comes to chews/bones, he can become extremely possessive, so his future home should be mindful about keeping these things out of his environment entirely to set him up for success. Brody has also been on a carefully monitored diet to help him reach a healthier weight and would benefit from continuing his weight loss journey! (Currently down to 90lbs, and should be 65-70lbs) If you’re looking for a smart, loyal, and adventurous companion, Brody could be the perfect addition to your life. He’s eager to bond with his person and ready to thrive in a home that understands his needs.
