Meet Boomer, a sweet, five-year-old black lab and collie mix with a heart full of love and a tail that never stops wagging. Boomer’s favorite things in the world are cuddling up next to his humans and chasing after his beloved ball. He’s a smart boy who already knows how to sit, shake, stay, and lie down – and he’s always eager to please. Boomer came to us after being found as a stray in Van Buren County, and while he’s come a long way, he’s ready for a forever home where he can get all the love and attention he deserves. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats, making him a perfect addition to a pet-loving family. We love Boomer deeply, but he needs more time and companionship than we can give right now. We’re hoping to find him a home where he can thrive, play, and snuggle to his heart’s content. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion, Boomer could be your perfect match

Story
Zeke is a high energy sweet boy. He aims to please his owner and loves attention. He is a high energy dog. He loves to play tug of war, run, hike and go for car rides. He is 14 months old. We got him at 8 weeks old with another male puppy. They were best buds until about 6 weeks ago. They got into a fight and haven't stopped fighting since. We have children in the home so the risk is too great for us to be able to keep him. The ideal home for Zeke would be one where he is the only pet. He needs an owner who is active and has the time to spend with him and play.

Please see HSBC website to adopt. -Hover "Adopt". Click "Dog". -Scroll to "How to Adopt" - Click "Dog Application". Dakota's background is unknown. She takes a minute to warm up. She is shy and skittish around anything new but once she knows her family, she is all in. Most likely, she was kept outside or tied up. She is learning what furniture and toys are in her foster and is acclimating to her new surroundings and the human children in her foster home very well. Her foster mom says that she is such a wonderful girl. Dakota needs a home where someone will give her the time she needs to warm up and not be scared anymore.  Older, well-behaved children are okay. We do not know how she is with cats. She has done well with dogs but can be selective with her space when it comes to dogs. Meets with other dogs are required.  She is chocolate brown with white and weighs about 43lbs. December 22, 2025, 11:40 am
